why do lush's lesbians rarely add men to their friends list ?

You have to face it, a lot of Lush's lesbian profiles are straight men pretending to be women lesbians, so naturally they don't want some guy sending them a dick pic etc.

Most of the real lesbians just enjoy having friends who ARE real friends, whether male of female. Just treat them as any other friend. Treating them as a sex object when they have no interest or such, in that direction is just stupid.

This!

Those who flat out hate men and the ground they walk on are either bitter and/or jaded because of past experiences, or they're men pretending to be lesbians in hopes of getting their rocks off with an actual lesbian. Either way, they won't be interested in you or your penis.

I accept just about anyone's friend request, but actual friendship depends on our interactions with one another. Some people (male and female) see that I'm unavailable and they lose interest really quickly. Others (male and female) don't care about my availability but will lose interest once they find out I'm not a potential plaything.

It's all about the approach. If you use a superficial approach, expect a superficial response and superficial interactions. Those who wish to pursue a friendship with me do so. I'm happy to make friends and acquaintances regardless of gender or sexual orientation...and I'd go so far as to say that many others here are the same.

We're all aware that this site is sexual in nature, so there are those who come here just for thrills...and they find each other rather quickly. But just as people are multifaceted, so is the site. There's something here for everyone, so just focus on what works for you. But there's really no need to make sweeping generalizations because things don't pan out the way you think they will.

Just because it's in Ask the Gals does not preclude men from answering - it just means that the question is geared towards us lot... Anyone can answer wherever they like...

Nobody said that anyone "can't" talk to anyone else

And I agree with what the others have said - why ask the question?

erm its called curiosity!

actually, your assumption is rather flawed. i know tons of lesbians here who have no issues with adding men to their friends list. sounds more like you're just interested in stirring things up. smile

why would you say i was stirring things up? i just asked the question and i didnt ask for smart arse answers like the clue is in the name lesbian. and you may have a view as a non lesbian however the answer is irrelevant if you arent one so until lush starts an ask the lesbian forum ask the girls is as close as i thought i could get.
I would like to appologise to any lesbian or lesbians i may have upset with this simple forum question

I have never had that problem. Then again, I'm not trying to cyber up every woman on my friends list either...
Just sayin

it bugs me because i just like chatting to women regardless of their sexual orientation and despite being a man I can read the word LESBIAN and understand its implications anyway Cheers to all women out there

Your tone comes across as bitter, shit stirring and argumentative, compounded by your last couple of posts.

People had the good grace to respond to your question with their own views and experiences.

Just because you don't like what they're saying there's no need to get all huffty about it...

As you're a newbie here (from what I can see) let me offer you a little advice - if you ask a question, people will respond - it might not always go the way you want, but it if you take it with good grace and remain courteous and polite, you'll get along much better. I'm starting to see a bit of a picture as to why "lesbians" may not wish to add you...

It's only a forum thread on t'internet... Maybe you need to get out more...

just saying...

(and for the record, there are lots of smart arses on Lush - I know... I've seen a few RRRRRRR)

EDIT: Your username is very rude...

I find it very funny? ironic? that you started a thread complaining about men being excluded, and you're attempting to do the same thing.

Is it any wonder with a user name like "pizdamuncher" and 2 profiles pics that had to be removed by admin that a lesbian might think you only wanted to talk about sex? Just a thought.

There certainly are some lesbians/bi-women who declare they won't talk to men, and there are also some people who won't add anyone unless they've interacted with them somewhere on Lush. It's all just a matter of personal preference. I don't have it in my bio, but I do screen my friend requests these days. It certainly seems to cut down on the random cock pics I receive.

i wasnt complaining i just asked the question and further more i was having a dig at the smart arse comment about the clue being in the word lesbian and also do you know what the pictures were? and trust me there are worse than i posted on here and finally dont judge all men the same whatever their online name may mean or infer, if you really want to know what im like try chatting to me you may be pleasantly surprised or have you pre-judged me?

That would be quite a good name actually!

You should choose a nice AV too - nothing too explicit...

(and I looked at your profile - you don't have time for books?? That's a red flag!!)

Sorry, what's a pizda?
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.

I love you too, baby!!!

And despite that revelation, I am STILL talking with the 'muncher!! Ha, I guess that lesbian not talking to straight guys theory is moot, huh??

Your intentions of creating this thread was to find out why a lesbian may not want you as a friend, correct?

You've received some excellent input...just probably not dressed up the way you wanted to be, but you really have received some great advice. Take a moment to actually read it...absorb what's being said instead of looking for reasons to be offended by it. You'll definitely understand how this community works a lot better if you just take a breather and learn from it. We're trying to help you.

If I sent a pm like that I'd be talking about their cat, not their nether regions!
Someone explain his problem to me I have been here for 3 years now and have never had a problem making friends because of their sexual preference WHAT GIVES
my reason is guys here always want more than just chat and I am not interested in that with them, now if they just wanted to have a normal conversation about something that is fine by me

i'm not sure, but if you're referring to me, i actually am - i don't let it define me, but yep, totally gay.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

And yet, I'm on your friends list. Hmm, maybe that is because I don't go sending you nudes. Well, except for the statues anyway
thats what i've always wondered myself, why do lesbians refuse requests from guys, what have men done to you to decline us. We know your not interested in anything physical with us, we just want to be your friend.

I can tell you as a moderator and without naming any names that you would be flat out astounded at the number of truly vile requests women in general get from some guys on this site. That is not an implication of you or anyone on this board, indeed that fact that you don't know shows that you are not in that group.

That said though, those men who do send such filth make the ladies here very reluctant to speak with any man until they have a good idea where he is coming from. If you want to place blame, put it on those low lives who treat the ladies like pieces of meat.

(and if you know me, you know how strong something would have to be for me to use that word)
Buz beat me to the answer i was gonna give. :P

My Dear Friend you were the first one to friend me on this site and we have been friends ever since. I could never picture you turning someone down because of any kind of discrimination at all
A lot of the answers are valid, but it's also because Lesbians Ladies do not want to be hit on by males seeking to change them and whose sole interest is of a sexual nature. Most ladies will reseach a friend request before accepting it and if there isn't sufficient information will probably decline it. If a male requests me to be his friend than I ant to see that he is interested in me for who I may be not what he hopes I will be.cf4HejLHzIzXEqED
