this is probably a stupid question but I've wonder what the answer was for a long time.

For those that don't know, The prostate is the gland that makes anal intercourse pleasurable for males.

I just wonder why some females find it pleasurable since they don't have one.

Can anyone answer that? .

I'm not sure where you got the idea that the prostate is a pleasure inducing organ. Not having one myself, I can't address this personally, but both my boyfriends (both straight) say they find prostate exams very UN-pleasurable. Women find a lot of pleasure from penetration. It's kinda our thing! We get it in the vagina, our mouths, and our asses. I know a lot of girls don't really enjoy anal, but some of us love it. I think it's less a gender thing than it is a personal preference. I happen to enjoy it, but a few of my girlfriends absolutely hate it. I think it's interesting that most straight men hate anal penetration, but most gay guys love it. How does your prostate-pleasure theory explain that?

I have never asked for anal sex for my own desire or satisfaction. I have asked for it or suggested it knowing my lover would love to do it. As others have said, some of us hate it some like me just love Anal. In talking to girlfriends about it and especially to those who did it once or twice and there will not be another time.

Not being a woman, I can't say for sure, but I've been told that anal also stimulates the g-spot. It gives a different type of stimulation from vaginal penetration, so a different kind of sensation. Rumor has it some women like it.

To me its both psycological as well ass physical thing. Its true that we females find pleasure in being penetrated. Physically......it stimulates our pleasure zones in some way or other. In case of anal its more pleasure (in my case) when my pussy has already been used and pleasured. Never a truer word said on here .. sex has so many variables starting with and including the difference between having sex and making love, I cant orgasm from just anal sex and sometiems i just dont want or like it . its having an understanding lover that is really important

I asked my husband about this too. He says that having the prostate check, particularly from a male physician sort of seems like a gay encounter, but his current doctor is a female and he does not mind. He has even joked about it.
