What is you views on having a fwb or fuck buddy?

I think its easier said than done, at least in my experience. The whole purpose of the FB or FWB is to be casual, no ties but pretty much sex at your convenience. It works great for a while. The FWB has to be on a very thin line between long term emotional attachments or simple transactional sex. I suppose the FWB is transactional to a certain degree: we'll grab a snack, maybe hang out, then I'll do you if you do me, say thanks and split. Very neat, tidy, confined. However, I've had 2 FWBs turn into best friends - the benefits are still there but they have started to mean more than a simple sexual transaction - they are turning into some sort of relationship. With both of these guys - who know each other and know they are both with me - I can see being friends for the rest of my life. We have started to develop a basis for strong friendships. Not romance, I don't think, but definitely friendships. I miss each of them when they are away somewhere. My other FWBs - not the same. If they leave "my circle", I'll miss their cocks and their mouths, but not them or their personalities or their friendship.
