I think as a society we would fair better by stopping the placement of age limits on every activity or aspect of life and instead begin placing emphasis on the quality of those experiences. This goes for a Multitude of subjects wether ur 19 and have had many sexual partners or 19 and no partners the emphasis shouldnt be placed on by this age u need this many to be a member of society it's by the experiences in ur life.

I wasn't allowed to watch Top of the Pops, go to discos, and stay out late at the weekends. I wasn't allowed my hair (on my head) trimmed until I was 15, or my ears pierced until I was 16. You can't pick your parents unless you are rich, divorce them and get pretendy new ones. Their house, their rules. Some people have a huge inner battle against the way they were brought up, whilst others were glad about the way they were brought up. For those who fight against it, either guilt and trained habits die hard, or they go right off the rails and don't give a toss. It's just a different lifestyle or culture, and finally exploring and enjoying new found freedom and independence, if one is able.

Granted, Prince Charles could offer the title of Princess, and eventually Queen to his bride; but I doubt either Diana Spencer or Julia Roberts were terribly swayed by the wealth and status of a potential suitor since they already had their own.

I don't know about the mail order bride angle, so I can't comment on that ...

As far as being a virgin at 19, I didn't have a girl friend until I was 23 ....
I grew up in a small town and drove a chopped and flamed '57 Chevy at a time when everybody that was anybody had a Camaro like the rich kid in town (at least until Cory traded his in for a new Monte Carlo) and consequently wasn't considered cool enough to be seen with.

Personally, I dont see what the big deal is with losing a virginity at a young age, I believe that good things come in time. Dont rush anything, your time will come.

I havent made out with anyone either. Hell, the most I ever got was a peck on the lips.

A word of advice, women like confidence. I'm extremely shy and thats the reason I've been single for a while. Too shy to talk to the pretty girls.
Man up, I'm experimenting with my confidence these days and I gotta say, I'm surprised with the results.

Thats all I gotta say, I hope I helped even a little.
