Do guys ever bring you flowers? And is that a gesture you would really appreciate? Maybe he's old fashioned, but my boyfriend brings me home a bouquet of white spider mums and baby's breath about 5 times a year just because he knows I love them in my kitchen.

What varieties of flowers arrangements would you most enjoy receiving, or aren't you into cut flower arrangements?
I love flowers, my grandpa used to get me flowers for Valentine's day.
I like a wide arrangement of flowers so really any bouquet would be appreciated.
I would love flowers from a guy anytime and any flower. But I have never had a relationship that lasted to that point. So what do I know.

My friend who introduced me to Lush, husband brings her Roses always Roses at least once or twice a month.

I asked him why so often, did he get into that much trouble?

He responded not at all. He just wants her never to forget how much he loves her after almost 30 years.

Here in California you can buy a dozen of very nice Roses at a grocery store for about $10 to $13. So not such a big deal and I think most girls would love it.
When I was young my dad warned me that 90% of the time, men only bring you flowers if they're guilty about something. But I LOVE getting flowers. I just love flowers. They brighten up my life and it's the best when it's a surprise. I'm no expert on arrangements but anything with Peruvian lilies is beautiful. I love roses of course and Calla lilies are so elegant and classy. Gypsophila is never out of place amongst any flowers. A friend brought me some flowers a few months back and they lasted an entire month which thrilled me so anything with a long vase life is just ideal.
my cat eats flowers, so i can't have them in the house... *sighs* and i do love them. (This is why we can't have nice things, Cleo!)

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I love it when my boyfriend buys me flowers.
I love flowers, they make special occasions even more special.
I love flowers and I do love receiving them but I hate that it seems os wasteful given the expense. They're beautiful and they smell nice, enhance the atmosphere for a time... but then they die... I probably love lilies the most, tulips are beautiful, and I would probably die to receive a bunch of roses just because I'm an unfathomably disgusting romantic lol.

I love receiving flowers from my children because I think it's beautiful and super sweet and it means they've been out with their father and asked if they can buy a bunch for mummy, but this is usually something like a cheap, probably reduced supermarket arrangement costing no more than $5.

I've sent flowers to friends for birthdays or when they're having a tough time and I want to show my support but they are otherwise inaccessible but have often resented the amount I've had to spend to do so... I'd rather make them meals, or take them out to dinner, or a movie, or something that gives them value than "just" flowers. But I realise this is specific to individuals.

I'd rather someone take the time to write me a heartfelt card. And for the love of god, can we stop sending flowers at a time of death. The flowers die. It is not a nice reminder for the recipients to then watch the flowers die, my opinion only though x
I have only been brought flowers a few times. I really enjoy it, because I like to have them around the house, and they remind me that I am loved or appreciated. It is a nice token of affection. On rare occasion, if I have enough around, I will bring people flowers with a few stems/flowers of a cannabis plant interspersed throughout the bouquet. It's maybe the dorkiest thing I have ever done on a date (but it was well received).

I don't give flowers as often as I should. I will take this thread as a reminder to do it more frequently.
I get flowers on a regular basis. I love roses and orchids. I really love the fact he's thinking of me.
they look nice, but I'd rather have them living ... in the garden or something. Not a fan.
I bring my love flowers every Friday. It's a cheap $6 bouquet from Walmart, but it's become a ritual, of her cutting them and arrranging them before we go out on our Friday night date.
I work as an itinerant florist, one or two Sundays a month. I still graciously accept flowers on a first date--although I do have the habit of rearranging the bouquet, clipping here and there with florist's scissors, removing this and that.

Guys who end up with a second or third date quickly learn that going to my jeweller and selecting something that he knows I will enjoy wearing, and wearing often, is a better way to wow me.

Really, lilies are the only flowers that are truly poisonous to cats. Which is a shame, because I love the Stargazer lilies and all of its variations, especially the Sorbonne. Anyway. Haven't had lilies in the house since my cat Peje ate some lily petals and died two weeks later of acute liver failure. It was awful. I didn't know at the time that lilies were that toxic to cats.

Random tip: Never, ever never, mix daffodils into a bouquet--daffodils (and their cousins, narcissus) mix only with daffodils, because daffodils are the beautiful serial killers of the flower world. Their bulbs and the stem itself, especially when cut, release a toxin that murders any other flower nearby--or sharing a vase.

I love receiving yellow and white daisies w/ baby's breath.
Other than that, I'm open to receiving which ever combination the men feel like gifting me.

That's so beautiful.
I love recieving flowers, but I'm more used to buy my own.
I still occasionally buy flowers for my Mrs . Then again I am perhaps and old fashioned romantic .
Flowers are cheap and easy. Plus cutting the head off something beautiful is fucked up too. But really, flowers are way easy. Any retard can be like, "let me get some flowers, durr". Cheap and easy. Easy chivalry. No thought.
I like flowers but not in my house. Lol I'll be the odd one--I'm used to it. ?

I don't have the greatest sense of smell in the first place but when I get close to flowers, more often than not I suddenly can't breathe as well anyway. Also, they're always in the way. They belong in the ground. It's just weird to me. ?‍♀️
I love being given flowers, especially if accompanied by a lovely kiss

Hey, I agree. It's $6 and a 10 minute trip into frikkin Walmart. About as hard as buying a pack of gum. But they always make her smile, so I always bring them.
I always love getting flowers. I remember the thrill when I was 16 and my first "boyfriend" would send flowers at least once month. My mom never knew who he was lol
Rather than cut flowers I prefer a plant. I love succulents or a cactus.

Sounds simple. Simple is fine I guess.
My Sir brings me flowers all the time. It's a really sweet gesture, and I enjoy having them in the house.
What girl wouldn't love flowers? So yes I'd apperciate flowers, any bouquet wpuld be apperciated. I am partically fond of roses, lillies, and lilac. Then while red roses will always be romantic, I also like pink ones as find them to be pretty too.
