Researchers found that:
- 40 percent of the women who used petroleum jelly as a vaginal lubricant had bacterial vaginosis, a common bacterial infection, compared to 18 percent of women who did not insert petroleum jelly.
- 44 percent of women who used oils inside the vagina tested positive for Candida, the fungus that causes yeast infections, compared to 5 percent of women who did not use oils.
- Women who used petroleum jelly inside the vagina were twice as likely to test positive for a bacterial infection.
Another vote for coconut oil. I love the smell, and it's impossible to spill on your sheets/carpet, which is very handy once you start moving through the positions! I'll never get the stain off my sofa after i kicked a bowl of massage oil over whilst moving into a 69 ;-)
You can mix up your own all-natural gels and oils, too. I've used this nuru massage gel recipe before and loved being able to tweak it with a bit of aloe vera or whatever you prefer.
Generally, just opt for natural products over chemicals, and you'll be fine, but remember that everybody is different so find what works for you. xx

I like coconut oil to just play with. Rubbing it all over each other and sliding together it's great! For lube for sex I tend to like KY ultragel it works well and cleans up easy. Nothing sweet that reacts bad later!
Yes I like coconut oil too. I sometimes use coconut oil for anal sex too but KY being water based is probably better over all
