Well i'll just lob in the nuclear handgrenade.
Its coming in to summer in this frozen wasteland where I live and the skimpy dresses are making an apperance but the very attractive "ladies" who dress to be looked at respond to being looked at with, and i quote, "Fuck you lookin' at?"
My question is Why put on a skimpy dress if you dont want to be looked at?
They do want to be looked at. They just dont want you to know thats what they want.
Maybe the ones who complain were dressing to stay cool rather than for the attention. I don't mind at all if a man checks me out. I do plenty of man-ogling, so I can't complain if the same happens back to me.
The general answer is they want looked at.... just not by you.
When I was working security in my younger years it wouldn't go a week between people sneaking into the pool in the courtyard for a good time. Well once it is locked up we don't do rounds past it anymore and everytime I would get a call about 2 am about a loud woman getting off with her man in the courtyard. I would come out with towels and escort them off the property and they always seemed to get shy when you were standing there at the edge of the water. Finally one time I said "how can you be shy now? Half of the rooms around the courtyard have been watching you for however long you have been out here."
and i, for one, would walk a mile for that toe!
From a girl's perspective: were you looking, or were you leering?
There is a difference, and it matters.
yes I know and it was just a quick look, not a thousand mile stare whilst slobering all over myself.
Love your answer ghostwriter!! I agree with most of the men if you are gonna dress that way you have to expect to be looked at / leered at / oogled / call it anything you want. You dont have to dress that way, and as for not wanting that specific guy to look at you, well you should expect it, men are very visual creatures and when offered something of beauty they will take a look and most likely a second look too, (Women do too) nothing wrong with it on either side as long as its harmless.
No matter what a woman wears, you as a man, will meet that look if a woman thinks you are looking in a strange way.
It doesn't mean that you are, it's about what she thinks you are.
Of course they want to be looked at ..living in the Uk with chicks who wear micro minis even in winter and just looking at them makes me feel cold with tube tops. If you don't want to be stared at cover up...I do however get annoyed when you go past construction guys and they shout stuff out at you...
That's a good point. Women still get gawked at even when wearing conservative clothes.
She's carrying a fashion magazine, too, Double-M.
The picture shouts "high maintenance".
