I actually prefer dresses to jeans or skirts, and especially during the summer. It is lovely to see a lot of maxi dresses coming back into style as I do love the swish of soft cotton around my legs. I will probably get some maxi skirts for the winter. I have always loved period dramas with lovely long dresses -- I would have loved to have lived in the early 19th Century days of Empire line dresses, but I don't think I would have thrived in a bustle or a crinoline. Honestly, I think a long skirt with the occasional flash of an ankle can be every bit as sexy as something that puts more on display.

Jeans - but cute ones - skinny jeans and boots, cigarette jeans and stilettos, fitted distressed or vintage-wash denim with flats. Not sloppy mom-jeans or work-in-the-yard jeans.

I love skirts too, but realistically I'm in jeans more than skirts.

I grew up on a horse farm, so I was always in jeans for the first half of my life. I'm still a bit of a tomboy, and my legs aren't my best asset, so I'll still go with jeans!
