This is a bit of a sore subject for me. I lost a job because I was falsely accused. The resulting investigation, talking to some of the people I supervised, resulted in no one backing the accusations. They never even let me respond to the accusation, fired me for "failing to operate per job description". They wouldn't even confirm who the accuser was. Though I'm pretty sure it was an under preforming employee that I'd written up for valid violations.

Sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest.

Denny, if you lost a job it means you were not the boss, so there's space for shades of grey there, when an employee accuses another employee, there's room for backstabbing, vendettas, and personal grudges. But employer versus employee tends to be a more black and white stuff.

Can we get a ruling? Is sexual harassment criminal behavior? Or is it just for civil suits?

Sexual harrasement (boss-employee or employee-employee) to me means prying looks, obscene comments, inapropiate jokes, etc, just making the other person feel unconfortable, so could be regarded a something to be dealt by the unions or civil suits ( so I guess I used a wrong title for the thread). But the "spread your legs or you are fired" situation , would be a diferent level, it's blackmailing and it is a crime, should be punished with jail time.

Rules and regulations are in place. I must have a proof of sexual harassment to take action against an official. Audio or video recording or a human witness is required to initiate the case. For that purpose, eyes and ears (CCTV Cameras operate 24/7) have been installed where I work. Therefore, no verbal complaints are entertained. I feel comfortable that deterrence is enough as there has not been a single case in last four years. Strict punitive actions are taken against the culprits.
I like the way you make me feel even when I'm nowhere near...

1) Complain to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO)
2) Sue the harasser and/or the employer
3) The harasser may be guilty of sexual assault, which is a criminal offence. I can contact the police and report the situation. If appropriate, the police can then lay criminal charges.
Hope Breaking taboos around my sexuality.
I can understand you might be a little apprehensive to chat with me because of my age.
It is difficult for ladies to want to chat with me, because there is a huge stigma and a certain level of taboo connected to my age.

What is it exactly that makes mature woman attractive to me?
Have you ever really looked deeply at and felt a mature woman?

For me…
There is a sense of something rich, mature and possibly deep that can emanate through her body, a quality that is attractive in and of itself.
She usually offers an image of the aging gracefully, sexy mature woman as something that is desirable, something that aspire me to and look forward to being one day – beautiful mature women. They still so radiant because what’s inside always shines outward. They teach me to love myself, and love my life, and I will attract others.

Since I fucked a guy so he would hire me, I'm pretty sure I'll do it to keep my job.

THIS

I'd report them to HR
Sue the harasser and the company if said harasser was not addressed and/or fired
Report it to the police and, ideally, press charges

At Southwest, if this happened the offender would go to arbitration and (especially if there is more than one witness) most of the time they'd be fired. SWA don't play with that shit. It's the LUV airline, but not the LUV ya whether you like it or not, airline.

In an early job after college I was sexually harassed by a woman vice president of the company I worked for. She was probably late thirties and she constantly came to my little cubicle to 'check on me' as she'd say. She'd ask if there was anything she could do to help me excel at my work, help me to fit in at the company, etc. She was very touchy, running her hands through my hair and telling me how sensuous my short hair cut felt. She rubbed my butt if no one was around to see.

She was not my direct boss, but rather over a department that mine did not answer directly to. But she was a vice president and she actually outranked my boss. The woman had very big titties and would come look over my shoulder pressing her tits against me. She'd catch me in the break room or anywhere she could, always getting too close, into my personal space, and usually find a way to press her breasts against me. She'd ask me out for drinks after work, ask me to lunch, and this went on and on. I always came up with an excuse and also told her I had a girlfriend. That didn't phase her.

My defense was that I worked in sales and with a supplied company car, had a territory that I needed to go out and service and seek new client leads. So I stayed away from the office as much as possible, coming in late after my sales day after big titty vice president had left for the day, or come in early and get out to make my rounds as early as possible.

I complained to my boss, a guy, who basically said there was nothing he could do. She outranked him and in fact, she was a partner in the business and he was not. Some coworkers had noticed and told me that I was evidently her new target, that she had a long history of targeting new young male employees. And that if any of them caved and had sex with her, she'd get possessive and controlling of them. In every instance they'd end up quitting their job there and she'd be vindictive in trying to mess them up about getting another job.

Eventually, because I was creative at finding ways to avoid her, she eased off. But it never totally ended until I changed jobs. Except for her, I would have liked the job and had been earned the salesperson of the month award several times by selling the most volume.

I didn't feel as trapped as I think a female would feel in the same situation with a male executive doing the same things. Getting out of the office as much as I did made it much more bearable. But I guess I always felt I could find another job if it got too bad. I ended up having a new job offer for a much better job even though I hadn't been looking for one. That worked out great.

Technically, my boss is my boyfriend, although there's some dispute over who's really whose boss since my father owns the company and I got him his job. But he's the only one who can get away with sexually harassing me without getting fired.

I am currently fighting to keep my job because I told my boss that he had no idea how to manage staff. I will not tolerate anyone who harasses me in any way. I was not sexually harassed but if I had been it would not continue for long.
The current situation is that he says I am not fit to carry out my duties because I won't accept discipline and has gone out of his way to twist my words and lie about me.
He will not get away with it, that I promise!

Well, after i got over the shock (since I'm male and my boss is a straight (AFAIK) male), I'd head to straight over to HR. If that didn't satisfy me, then see cindy_d's post upthread (since we are in the same province).

My boss knows me better than to ask.
I have been accused of having balls when I chew and spit out some dickhead in meetings who brings the sexist attitude to the fore. Usually when they are losing the argument.
I have not been a model without many propositions or harassment. Ignorance at the spoken word works or a slap on the face when the hands go somewhere they shouldn't.
I have never been guilty of using the casting couch when a job has been offered with that as a condition.

Holy shit, I think I worked for that guy! Document everything (I'm sure you are). My boss was guilty of the same kinds of things. I was a ground ops supervisor for years and was out six months for back surgery. He actually wrote me up for not completing my appraisals on time. WTF? Should he not have delegated that to another supervisor? I had so much documentation I could have sued, but I went inflight instead. I feel your pain. What an asshole...
