How would you react?
There was some statistics that said that over 70% of men has slept with a prostitute at least once in their life.
How would you react on this? Is this a deal breaker or?
I think it depends largely on when. If it were before their current relationship, I don't think most women would consider it much different than any unprotected one night stand he might have had. We are all adults, and sex is part of life. All of us have likely had sex with someone we probably should have avoided.
If it was during their relationship, its cheating, and potentially bringing an STD into her bed. That is a whole new ballgame. I doubt that conversation would be calm or pleasant.
If I were in a monogamous relationship, that would be the end of it. It would completely destroy any trust in the relationship and trust is required for any good relationship.
First off, I think the 70% figure in that poll is bullshit. Like those polls that show that many more men have straight sex affairs than women. WHAT? Is one woman out there having like a few thousand affairs? It would take that to get those poll numbers. It takes one of each. Just use some common sense.
But what would it matter what they did in the past before their current relationship anyhow? Everyone has sexual history unless you caught them as a virgin. Then of course, they couldn't have had sex with a prostitute or anyone else.

Legalize prostitution. Take it out of the hands of the pimps and human traffickers. Let it be a legal taxable occupation where the workers are regularly tested to prevent STDs. For crying out loud it was legal for most of written human history. Put an end to radical Puritanism!
I would probably be more upset about the amount of money he spent or me not being invited to watch if i am really honest. I can however see the need for getting tested after but that is pretty much any time you are with someone new the fact that its a prostitute doesn't change much.
If it happened prior to our relationship that is no problem at all

Seems like you and I more or less come from the same school of sexuality.

Nearly all prostitutes require johns to wear condoms, so the safety issue is probably a non-starter. Have to make sure though. I'd be puzzled, but anxious to listen.

Depends on the prostitute. Many of the escorts around here are "safe sex only" or, at most, will only do BJs uncovered not intercourse. However, I can't say if the same is true for street girls.
Not all escorts have diseases. I get tested regularlyand if one of your husbands or boyfriends wants to be with me they better have alot of money ,I'm not cheap.
I don't know about prostitutes, but men sometimes go out to hostess bars after work. It is part of working or business culture, maybe. Him having a love affair with another girl would upset me a lot, though.
