Its a common joke in Canada that women are ice-princesses and we live in unfriendly cities... Based on my travel to other cities, I will agree for the most part... Its a total generalization, but it does seem to be true sometimes. Not sure why. Maybe its the cold?! LOL

lol, I spent my first 18 years in northern California, now I'm in Texas, and believe me girl, bitches are everywhere! Myself included sometimes, just so you don't think I am a hypocrite

The only thing I would add to WMMs post is this- I am a lot younger than any of you (Damon, DD, WMM) and only get into the good clubs because I am with a guy and/or because I have a really good fake ID, so I can't talk about much other than what I have seen and done, but 10pm at most clubs, its either still empty or the restaurant part is still busy and the music hasn't started.

Assholes are assholes when they show up at the club, and they are still assholes after they get wasted. Most guys that I would go for don't get all tore down at the club though, and maybe I am naive and haven't seen enough, but most don't in general- usually because on weekends there is someplace to go after that, and if you can't even stand up then the night is over- partied out!

Most people at least preserve enough decorum to get them to the next party spot- and most get grumpy or sleepy before they pass out from alcohol. People in college probably have a totally different experience, but they would have to say so- that's just what I hear.

So have I seen people wilding out and starting fights, acting the fool? Hell yes, but those same people weren't reasonable and attractive two hours earlier. Drinking too much causes me and everyone else to do stupid shit, but the times I have popped off on a guy for being an asshole, 90% of the time I was sober.

I rarely go clubbing anymore, when I go out it is more performance oriented, but in the daze of Mary Jane, I didn't waste time with a woman who indicated she wasn't interested in me. I expected some level of rejection and was grateful I didn't waste a lot of time with her. Unless, you are Mr. one Johnny Depp you are not going to hit it off with every woman you meet. A guy shouldn't expect it. It is like no big deal getting turned down, it is nothing personal.

I have had to turn women down in the past. Sometimes it was a great pleasure to do so when they are psycho but in other cases I have hurt a few feelings but from my point of view it was better in the long run. The best thing in this kind of situation that I can is not pretend.

Lady X is right, people that are assholes will be assholes even when they're asleep. Sometimes an asshole with hard liquor running through his blood is dangerous.

Hmmm....Maybe its only in Canada that women act like bitches? hehe. JK.

I've only had one woman outright yell at me in 12 years. You are right in that most just "act disinterested." It also depends on the type of bar you are at and the type of city. In higher class nightclubs in larger cities, the women usually have significantly less tolerance for unwanted guys.

So, in Canada, you've found that some women act like bitches. jeez ....maybe there are extra bitches in your neck of the wood in Canada, but I must ask ... why do you have that reaction from women? why do some guys complain about this on a regular basis?

Sarcasm people. It was a joke. I said this because DD and I were the only two people in here who have witnessed girls responding to guys in an overly aggressive manner. It was a joke!

When I stated that most women act "disinterested" I was not refferring to how they react to me, but was refferring to how most women tend to react to unwanted advances from males approaching them. I said this to clarify that the vast majority of women do not scream "fuck off". Like I've stated (about 5 times now) I've only had a woman scream at me ONCE in my my entire life.

Geez, this is exhausting. I really shoudn't have to explain every word I write should I? Please read the comments fully before responding.

What do you mean by that?! Just kidding!

IMHO, most people don't get hostile and angry in the pick-up game. True, it's usually women rejecting men, but rarely have I seen it get mean. When it does it's usually because someone is drunk or brought their jealous SO (who may also be drunk).

No, usually it's because the guy is short and ugly.LsYqoJK9uaQiL5H1

OK, I'm going to share the bullet on this one, because technically Damon just said that it happened to him once, and then it was ME that said that I have seen girls get 'mean for no reason' on several occasions.

It does tend to happen only in certain bars/clubs though, and definitely only with certain people. Its not the norm by any means, but it does happen.

And it has little to do with alcohol or the time of night. Most of the time its just a girl thats annoyed at being hit on every time she moves to get a drink or go to the bathroom.. which then makes her bitter.. and makes her lash out to avoid having to take on the pretence of being nice at all.

This has never been someone that I have ever done (nor do I agree with it, because I think most times you can still be nice with a sentence or two in terms of shutting a guy down), but I have seen it and know a few girls that resort to this on occasion.

Past 1am is usually the 'sharking hour' at any bar/club, which is why its best to exit and either go home, or continue the party at an 'after-hours club' where you can start from scratch again, and let your guard down... LOL

Wow, relax man. I said it only happened to me once in 12 years. The part about Canada was a joke. (As indicated by the hehe, JK). I'm a little bit baffled as to why you took offence to this conversation.

Dude, you have often stated that you like to stir the pot. Heh, I like to stir it too.

You made another blanket comment as a general rule of thumb. I called bullshit, you tossed back your bigger city, classier nightclub comment without adding any firm criteria.

I clarified a possible reason. Alcohol (no joke)

You should get out to LA sometime Damon. It's a bit more laid back. You'd probably have a blast.

I'd offer to show ya around, but I don't run with dudes, I don't need a wingman.

I do my best work alone, as I am sure you do, too.

Cheers

I've been to LA. And I did have a blast.

Let me clarify a few things before this spirals off topic.

1) MY references are to men approaching women in a sensible manner. Not drunken idiots.
2) I am not complaining in any way. I have very rarely had a women act "bitchy" to me at a bar.

Let's break this down. Picture a guy walking up to a woman at a bar. The woman is not interested in him at all. Some women act polite and engage in conversation until they find a way to escape. Some women will act a little more bluntly and maybe a little rude. Yes, there seems to be more of the latter in high class nightclubs than in local pubs. If you disagree with that statement, ok.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with women acting that way. Attractive women in nightclubs get hit on all the time. Therefor they develop certain defence mechanisms to repel unwanted male suitors. Some mechanisms are polite and some are less polite.

So, I'm not sure which of those horrible "generalizations" you will take offence to now but I'm willing to discuss any of them further.

Damn there goes my Lush threesome fantasy.

guess you guys will just have to go one at a time.

Empower yourself and set up your own gangbang, Xuani. Send out your invites and see who RSVP's.

Just because I don't run with a wingman when I plan to prowl, does not mean I won't participate in certain group carnality, if invited by the female(s).

Take control, babe.
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.

So how would women feel if you approached a guy and he told you to "fuck off"?

I have a friend who consistently responds to women exactly that way. (If he feel that they are not up to his standards).

your friend sounds like an ass...but looks fade and hair recedes and one day he will get told to fuck off by most women he encounters

and to respond to your question ...If someone did that I'd walk away because people like that aren't even worth responding to

Wow, its so hard to imagine this happening! And I think most women would think that too.

Although there are many women that rarely ever approach guys (myself included) because we are used to be just signifying a bit of interest and luring them into coming to us instead.

If it did happen, I'd probably just tell him to 'fuck off' as well, and go grab a drink. Life's too short to waste on getting any hang-ups from stuff like that.

I always seem to be followed around by the weirdos because I'm too nice to tell them to fuck off!!

But my usual line is 'I have a boyfriend' and then soon back off after that

After reading several posts here I feel the need to speak up. Based on responses here, you can all see that sometimes working up the courage to walk up to a beautiful girl, introduce yourself, and try to start an honest conversation, just to get shot down half the time can really take the wind out of a mans sails.

If you see a guy that you would like to get know (on any level, Not just the nekid ones) BUY HIM A DRINK!!!! I have never seen a man tell a woman to FUCK OFF in this situation. Not promising you it will go in the direction you hoped... but I can almost promise you that you will never get FLAT OUT SHOT DOWN.

Yeah this guy is a a bit of an ass. (He only does this with girls that he considers "fat.") The funny thing is...he's not even all that attractive. But he thinks he is, and he acts like an ass, and...well he only hooks up with really hot girls. Weird how that seems to work?

Ah yes I agree with Lady X...confidence ...but a lot of women love assholes...the worse a man seems to treat them the more they want them...

they typically leave by the time I get to "more pleasure than you could EVER imagine..."

I've been serving tables in a pub for 5 years and I've probably seen it all by now. If I'm asked out while I'm working I just tell them I can't date customers. If they keep it up I threaten to get the bouncers. (Okay, we don't really have any but they usually get the hint.) If I'm out and they don't take a nice no for an answer, A good condecending roll of my eyes almost always works. I've threatened to scream if a guy tried to touch me, and I've poured more than one drink on a guys shirt.

When the guy or gal for that matter it is very easy, if they are an obnoxious pain in the ass. I can be a really cold bitch.

When it tough is when it is a nice person who just does not the flow start.

Yes, I have ended up with some that I would just have soon not.
