I think at least for a certain portion of women who don't do it, it's because we don't want to jeopardize anything in our lives by putting something on the internet that can come back and ruin us. You always hear horror stories of people posting nude photos on facebook and people taking them and spreading them around, and eventually getting fired over it because their boss found out.
I think it is pretty easy to tell which photos are "real" and which are borrowed. Maybe because my husband and I are photographers it's easy for me to tell at least. Also, I totally respect the faceless shots that are real. Some of us cannot risk losing our jobs to satisfy someone else's curosity. Plus, I think that is part of the lure of this website...fantasy. Personally, I will never lie about myself, it just isn't worth my time.
