I know I'm not a gal, so my opinion won't matter as much, but I am 6'0" and my wife is about 5'7" or so. I just can't imagine a more perfect combination. When I hold her, she has to look up and I have to look down a little for us to gaze into each other's eyes.
It's just SO perfect. So, I think a height difference of about 5-6" is important, and I think I can safely speak for her on this too.
i'm 5'0" and i love tall guys.
i know what you're thinkin, "you're only 5' tall, EVERY guy is tall to you!" to that i say, "shut yer piehole & let me finish what i was tryin to say"
the shortest guy i've ever been with was 5'11", now that may not be considered very tall to some people, but keep in mind that's almost a foot taller than me.
the tallest guy i've ever been with was my last ex, he's 6'5" lol
I love taller guys. Since i'm only 5'1 its never been an issue.
"If your nose to nose, your toes are in it. And if your toes to toes, your nose is in it."
That being said (with a giggle) I'm quite tall. I top out at 6ft and I love my heels.
I've rarely had a chance to date someone that's even remotely taller than I am. (That was worth being around)
And it would be a cold day in hell that I'll give up my heels for some shorter guys ego.
I don't have any issues with a guy that's close to my own heighth within a few inches.
A foot shorter though? Probably not.
It just looks awkward if I need to pick him up to give him a goodnight kiss.
I'm 5'5" and I wear heels A LOT because i feel so short when i'm wearing flats so i would appreciate it if my man was at least 3 inches taller than me but i kinda don't get too attracted to men that are really really tall like 6'3"+.
You know what they say: Big man Big Cock...................................................Little man, ALL COCK
Very important..specially if your 5'8 ;)
I lived in Hollywood and have met many stars. I'm 6'4" and the only one I ever looked up to was John Wayne.
I think I remember Eastwood being about my size, too.
I met Robert DeNiro when they filmed Casino in Las Vegas.
He can't be more than 5'7" and Pesci was tiny. Yet, they had plenty of babes. Probably standing on their wallets made them look taller.
So in my humble opinion, unless your a billionaire , or a movie star ..if you're a shorty the deck is stacked against you my friend.
On the other hand, I know some basketball players that couldn't get laid in a women's prison with a fist full of pardons...there is such a thing as too big!
Its not all that important even though I like a man a little taller than me...
I'm 5'10" and while it's not unheard of for guys to be shorter than me, most are as tall or taller. While I am more attracted to taller men, height is definitely not a deal-breaker for me. If I'm attracted to someone's personality...I couldn't less about their height.
I would prefer him be at least 4 inches taller than me, I'm 5-4 so, you know just a little feel of security.
Anything you think is sweet, I'm a little more than that.
Ok so i have a question in reverse sort of. Ok im 6'9 - 6'10 and i find it rather difficult at times to approach women because more than once in the past ive been told my size is intimidating. So ladies if you had never met the man and he was my size would he come off as intimidating?
I like taller better, but if I was dating again and a man shorter than I am asked me out i would not turn him down just because of his height. (i am 5'5)
the tallest man i ever dated was 6'2. i liked that he was really tall.
musicluver, if i was dating again and a man your height walked up to me and wanted to go out, it would not be intimidating to me. i think your height would be a plus and i would want to talk to you more.
I am 5'10 and tho I have tried to date guys of equal or shorter... I just can't get into it... I like my man taller. I like to look up to man... Its just sexy.

I am a really short guy - but I have also been smart, intelligent and reasonably fit. My advice to fellow short men is:
Yes, most girls do prefer guys much taller than themselves. BUT if you have the right personality, women will come to you - and those who do come would be more genuine - since they have managed to see beyond your height.
Personally, I know at least two girls who had fallen for me when I was at Uni, but I rejected them for their looks (they were both rather stout) - I was not proud of this 'superficial' judgement - but frankly, I wasn't attracted to them.
However, right then, I also found my gf (my wife now) - she was fit, good looking and about 5 cm (3/2 inches) taller than me - we have been madly in love with each other ever since (12 years - and going stronger) ....
deep down .. I know I was lucky that I was only 18 when I met her... it might take a bit longer for some.. but don't give up!!
I was wondering, is there a point where a guy is too tall? Me being 6'7".
I am a fairly tall girl and I prefer a guy that is taller than me. However, my boyfriend is about an inch shorter than me. I still love him and find him sexy, thoigh, so, it's really not that important.
Not at all, his personality is much more important than his height. Taller or shorter, you can't help who you're attracted to.
I prefer for my guy to be taller than me, I'm 5'6 so most men are. If I could be picky about it every one of them would be taller than 6'0. I have a thing for wearing high heels and sometimes that makes me taller than some men I know.
I'm 5'10" and am very happy that I'm not shorter. I think it's almost universal that women prefer taller men and I think I'm right on the border line of being short.
I feel sorry for men 5'8" and shorter. I think it must be very frustrating for them.
I prefer women to be somewhere between 4'11" and 6' tall so as you can see I'm very picky about height... ;)
Great minds think alike but dirty minds work together.... ;)
