No, because I have a life in the real world. I guess there is some people who can't distingush between the real world and the internet.
Can't say I have actually. Easy come easy go after all this is a fantasy site not my real life, my emotions on here are due to reading your stories. I either like them or I don't and will say so too.
I would say yes - a connection with someone (on or offline) can be intense and evoke all sorts of emotions including jealousy
I think the "jealousy" component really can only happen if you've made a connection with someone I think. I mean, if you're on here for shits and giggles and you're one of those that chats it up with anyone that pokes at you including those with blank profiles and faceless avatars, you might not give a shit that you didn't make it to the top of their playlist.
But if you're someone that takes the time to get to know people on here, share a bit of yourself with them, you're bound to find those that you prefer to spend more time with than others. When that happens, it can be difficult NOT to feel a pang of jealousy once in a while. Just depends on your purpose for being here. And as Tiinkerbell so eloquently said, "a connection with someone (on or offline) can be intense and evoke all sorts of emotions including jealousy."
And yes, jealousy can be healthy but I really think that is more theory than reality when it comes to places like Lush. This is a place where people congregate because of our love of sex and erotica and fantasy and chatting and perusing pics and whatever else we're allowed to get our hands on all for our own selfish pleasure. It's easy picking if you want it so jealousy, the not-so-pleasant kind can run rampant on here if you're not careful.
Never really got that involved with anyone online so I would have to say no.
I agree with the others in that is is only natural. We sometimes get so wrapped up in the roles we play that we forget the other person (and us as well) is playing with many others on here just the same. It's natural to get a little jealous. But you have to remember where you are and that most lushies are on here for a good read/time... not necessarily for a commitment. It's all in the fun of the moment. Be their lover while you are playing. Don't expect to be it afterwards.
I have a special Lushie friend, with whom I have probably shared more intimacies than with anyone else, ever, in my entire life (and I've been married three times, so there aren't many secrets, overall). But one of the things we established very early on was that there was no exclusivity. So, no, I am not jealous at all. Do I wish I could be "the one"? OF course; we all do, but I also realize my limitations. Dirty Harry was not telling me anything new.
And I disagree with the previous poster. I believe that the deeper you connect with someone, the lesser the likelihood of jealousy. I find when I have a deeper connection with someone, I tend to put that person further and further ahead of myself. How could I be jealous, if she is doing what makes her happy? I may be disappointed that I cannot provide whatever it is she needs, but am I jealous? No. If anything, I am envious of whoever can fulfill that need. And that envy is always tempered with a happiness for her, that she has found that person..

I agree with most the ladies here, yes it does hurt sometimes if you thought you had something going, but after a while it was like: whatever.. Move on. Find someone else.
definitely, yes ! even though it is the most stupid thing on here you can do ... anyway...glad I am not the only one...
Jealousy? On a FANTASY SITE? Jealousy is pointless in RL WHY would I want to bring it into my fantasies?
It happens, A LOT on LUSH. While some may not get jealous, I think most do/can. It depends on what each persons's intent for being here is, what connections they have made (and why), etc. But we have seen the forums explode because of jealousy. Hey, it is what it is..... and yes, both men and women can get hurt as well as feel jealous (here and in the "real world").
In the sense of a guy then no, as well I can't compete with that. However with another woman then yes, unfortunately I'm very jealous in my nature however I do try not to be. But with someone who means so much then jealously is always there for me.
I think it's important to remember that Lush is an online community, and there's an extent to which we have to accept that the relationships we develop here may often seem like one thing and be another, whether we ever find that out or not. That's why I think it's best to not take things to seriously here, while still being yourself as much as you can. My opinion. Guess I'm a feeling a little hyperpractical today.
I also think it is normal for jealousy to come into the picture but how you handle it is another thing. I can't say I have gotten jealous but get more pissed off when someone logs off when I log on..
no. honestly that answer surprises me lol! here i think the main objective is to explore your fantasies. seeing as how we often have more than one, it makes sense that he would explore with others.
Depending on the connection you have with someone, it can be hard not to get jealous. But in general, no I wouldn't get jealous. I suppose maybe in the future (having developed a proper connection/friendship/relationship) I might answer this a little differently. Lets wait and see! As of now, I can only answer based on my own experiences here
Knowing that we are only humans and emotions vary from one person to another, I would say that anything can happen.
Not at all - I actually get turned on by the fact that my besties/lovers (guys and gals) on here are getting off with someone else. It isn't going to change the fact that when we do get at it, it'd be super-explosive. And if that doesn't hold true any more, well, tough luck. I suppose online friendships (with benefits) are less messy in that way.
I may sound like a callous bitch but we are all on here to just have a bit of fun. My above stance might not apply in real life though.x
