My current VERY BENEFICIAL friend is in his fifties. When I met him I actually thought that he was a couple of years younger than I! I'm more attracted to the person, not the venerability of their mortal coil; while I'll admit that I also do need to find them physically attractive, it is the confidence, personality, and whether or not they are in control of their life or just reacting to events that either does it for me, or not.

I prefer older guys and always have. I always found guys my age to be immature, inexperienced (especially with regard to bdsm) and often sexually selfish. Older guys take their time, know how to pleasure a woman and give her what she needs and can be focused on her rather than his own pleasure exclusively.

I think the biggest age gap I ever had was I had sex with a 44 year old when I was 16. I lied about my age and it was just absolutely amazing sex. Not like what I had with my high school boyfriend which was awkward, quick and unpleasant frankly. Currently I'm mid 20's and my boyfriend is late 40's and it's fantastic.

Take time to get to know the person and then decide how to move on. Age, physical appearance etc. become less relevant. It's just a matter of taking time and finding out what people are really like.

It seems that young women are attracted to older men to some degree or another. I cannot speak for all. I can speak for myself. I have always been attracted to older men. There is not age limit for me.

While I don't have a preference for much younger women and am now happily married to a woman just 5 years younger, I did enjoy "a fling" about 7 years ago with a young woman who is 32 years younger than me. She was smart and articulate, a recent college grad then, and submissive. We were both single then, and I was living in a place with very few dating prospects. The fling turned into a very unique friendship that included wonderful sex. Neither of us were aiming for long term, and there was something freeing about that for both of us. I enjoyed everything about our conversations and the sex, and it is a nice memory for her and I. I don't think it would have been good to try to make it something more than a very lovely fling.

I’ve never been one for putting much stock in the age of a person to determine if they are somehow “right for me”. I don’t think how long a relationship lasts is a good indicator of whether it’s valid.

If it’s consensual, you’re having fun and you’re treating each other well then go for it. Of course the younger partner has to be well of age. If you’re going far older in your first sexual experience I’d be concerned about grooming.

"Attracted to" is kind of a vague term. There are so many aspects to attraction, and age ranks well down the list for me, as in I don't care if the other factors are there. Appearance, grooming, voice, smile, eyes, attitude, sense of humor, a willingness to be open and have fun, even a nice scent and probably several other things come before age, which in and of itself is not much of a consideration either way.

As for those who think that all older men are searching for the fountain of youth, I will say that wasn't part it for me, ever. Younger women were an exception, and the fling with the one that was way younger came about and continued as long as it did because she was unusually mature.
