Iv always wondered if women are visually turned on like us guys are?

By visually turned on I mean like the way we check out womens breasts, butts etc and it turns us on.

Are women turned on by us in the same way?
Its not that Im saying it cant happen or doesnt happen its just Im a guy so I dont know what its like for women.

Whats the same as us looking at your breasts, butts etc? Do guys have anything that turns you on like that visually?

If your turned on visually by a guy what exactly do you feel sexually? what happens?

Iv asked women before but I always seem to get answers like:
women go for personality,
women arent visual,
women need to be touched,
seeing a guy topless does nothing for me but then ya can see the way they look at you when your topless.

Then there's articles and stuff that stay women aren't visual etc but then some women tell me that things are the same for women its just they arent willing to admit it.

Im confused and dont know whats real or fake anymore.

Would be great to hear from some women about how things work for you?

Thanks

for me, I have a great imagination and reading stories paints great pictures into my mind/fantasies, so no, photos of men penises is not a turn on for me, I don't watch porn, but I do go over my photos and cull out the best sexiest ones, I would rather they caresses me with erotic words

Hell yeah, if I see a well built man who has chest hair peeping over his t shirt I am instantly turned on and wondering how he looks under his shirt and then my mind runs away with me. So yes, us women can be just as visual as men

i have been surprised by how i can be turned on by images, enough to tease me to release.....but a great mind and wit will keep me intrigued so much longer.
So, for me, yes, i can be visually aroused (and often), but not always predictably....

I am visually turned onto a certain degree, but far more by my imagination. That's why the obviousness of mainstream porn does not turn me on.

So here is my take…women are very specific about what turns them on visually and men are not so much. In other words…boobs in general…big, small, fake, real…makes no difference, many guys I know are just generally turned on by them. Some guys are turned on by a perfect body or the perfect ass and some guys like a more “real world” natural every day body. Men are generally, physically turned on by all of these things and none in particular.

Women are a bit more specific. Yes, a nice looking, well-built man is a turn on, but it is more than that. The look on his face, the look in his eyes, or the idea that he might touch us that is really the turn on. Not so much just his looks, but what we imagine we would enjoy doing with someone who looked like that.

Women, (me) are turned on by the way someone makes her feel…..and that includes the way they look but it also includes when they do certain things that make us feel good. If a man (or woman, because make no mistake, women are turned on by women too), looks at us a certain way and they have other physical attributes that we like to see, that affects us. If someone touches certain places like the small of your back as you enter a room or brushing hands when reaching for something, even if by accident it can send shivers down my spine and fill my mind with what else I’d like them to do. A simple act of brushing my hair off my shoulder has my head spinning sometimes. (right person, right circumstances)

Physically what does “turned on” mean? To me, it could mean a whole host of things but I think in short it is the feeling of adrenaline coursing through your body by a touch or a smile or a look from across the room by someone who is pleasing to our eyes. It is a high that we want more of right now! I feel warm inside, tingly all over, and yes, wet when someone is, says, or does something that sparks my libido into high gear.

That is just my take…we are women though and we are not all the same, thank heaven!
I hope you enjoy my latest poem!

I get very visually turned on. Being Bi I get turned on by seeing a sexy woman just like a man is. But as far as being turned on by a man's appearance, when I see a guy I find attractive, sure I get somewhat turned on. But its not really the same. The sexually attracting physical attributes on women are much more noticeable than on men. A woman may dress to show off her cleavage or wear short tight skirts to show off her ass and legs. But for the most part guys don't wear clothing that shows off their chiseled abs or reveal their beautiful cock. I would think wearing pants so tight that you can tell how his cock may look has to be incredibly uncomfortable and don't blame guys for not doing it, LOL.

So for me the visual that attracts me to a man is more how he carries himself. Does he appear confident? or just cocky? How does he dress? With me, body language is very key.

While women and men may not be on even fields when it comes to being visual, if a woman says shes not at all visual, then she's sexually dead in my view lol, c'mon. Sommmmmething visual has gotta create some kinda spark ladies...
I'm visual... I can definitely appreciate men and women's bodies, whether it's a sexy butt, shapely hips/waist, legs, smile, eyes, hair, lips, etc etc. Women may be more discreet when checking people out, but on some level we do.
Some things I notice regarding men (when talking about 'checking out')... his walk, stance, curve of his shoulders/back muscles, arms, fingers, width of his hands, smile and eyes, waistline/the way his belt looks around his waist, ass, shoes. Oh, and cologne lol mmmmmm!!
And regarding more intimate moments.. love looking at how his arms flex when he's holding himself above me and his pec muscles. The curve/muscle along his neck when his head is held back in passion, the way his back muscles shift when he's shirtless and moves a certain way, the look of the veins in his forearms, the line of his jaw in his side profile, how his lips move/curve with whatever kinda way he smiles (happy/funny smile, a grin, leer, closed-mouth up curve in amusement, etc). Wow I'm getting really detailed lol, so yes women can certainly be visual ;)

Anyone who believes that all men are one monolithic collection of traits, and all women are another, just doesn't understand psychology. Gender and sexual traits in humans, male and female, fall along a continuum. Some guys have female personality traits to some degree, and some women have male traits. That's what makes people so interesting!

I love seeing a guy with a nice bubble-butt, great abs, or beautiful hair! Physical attraction usually comes before emotional attraction for both men and women because our first impression of another person is usually visual. We all have physical types we are visually attracted to before we make an emotional connection, as a rule, but I think women are more often capable of forming an emotional connection first, which then engenders a physical attraction, ...which is a good thing for all you nice guys who don't look like Brad Pitt.

Well...I like artistic and sensual pictures. There are a lot of very erotic pictures out there. A play of light, a back ground that is exotic, maybe some props that are just fun and playful. Yes...I like erotic pictures very much....Men and women both! The fact is for me...if I begin to look at erotic pictures I get more and more stimulated and I find myself looking at more sexual pictures...it just happens. Maybe that makes me a strange girl but it works for me.

I get visually turned on all the time. Rather see a bulge in a guys pants and imagine what he is like than actually see what's in there though, so I think it's visual stimulation to spark the imagination, similar to the way I use stories on here. I get turned on by port/pictures of men and women but more often than not I lose interest when it gets to the actual fucking. I'm all about teasing and anticipation.

Yes, there are many things I find visually stimulating when looking at men or women. Surely the first attraction is usually visual then you find out more as you go along. Looks is a good starting place but I need more than just that.

Having said that I can be very attracted to someone's voice on the radio or on the phone for example, although I have no idea what they look like.

Beth,
I couldn't agree more. If you're attracted to a certain body type. Just wait it will change. As a person dedicated to fitness, I know if my work regime decreases my body will change quickly. Who I am is more important than what I look like. The development of character requires as much dedication as pumping iron. Body, soul and spirit. Those are all connected

Absolutely yes. It is scientifically proven that on a subconscous level every female is looking for the best male individual (according to her standards of course) to copulate with so that she can conceive. It maye sound a bit animalistic, but it is so. For me personally, it has always been the physical attraction that has led to me pursuing any further communicatiuon with a man. Otherwise we all have male friends whom we enjoy talking to, share the same views etc. but we don't have sex with because despite the intellectual and emotional compatibility , we just don't feel physically attracted to.

Hey thanks for getting back, really interesting to know. Most guys I know personally they are like you said so they are mostly into breasts or butts or both and dont have a specific type they are into.

Me personally I do have specific types but I try not to let women know what they are so they don't feel bad about it if they don't have those specific types I'm really into and I'm not saying they are a total deal breaker either like I would still date someone and give them a chance or if they were friends with me in the past and I knew shes a decent woman has a good personality I would still give her a chance and it wouldn't matter.

Me personally I dont like fake breasts or butts, I prefer natural even if they are small.

I think all breasts and butts are beautiful but theres just certain types that just turn me on a lot more than others.

I'm into women more that have small to medium breasts,
I dont understand why women want to have their breasts enlarged when there's probably more guys like me out there that are the opposite and prefer small, medium natural breasts. I mean I kind of like something not too big that I can hold and feel in my hands.

Butts I do have a few specific shape im into aswell.

Mostly women that visually turn me on or that Im just attracted to have those specific things about them but I have dated women who started out as friends or just got to know them randomly and they didnt have those specific things about them but other things about them turned me on/ things they said/did got things started and I think once iv thought about someone in a sexual way like what might happen in bed etc then I find it easier to be turned on by them again like next time I see them ill think about the same things again. So looks aren't everything things can just start and you start feeling the right things for that person.

I mean I do think about all those things as well the look on her face, the way she looks at me, smiles at me,that look in her eyes, I think about the way she touched me as well, things like when women move their hair to the side, fix it or play with it etc, when you touch us or brush against us.

we are turned on visually as well but other things you do turn us on as well or add to it making us want you more.

You said women are turned on by other women? would you say all or most women are into other women? Is it a curiosity thing or would they just prefer another woman over a guy?

Visuals are intriguing - but don't necessarily make me hungry. Usually I need to have sex on the brain already to be spiked by just seeing him.

Physical contact - proximity [close but not quite contact] in innocent ways can be an instant turn on if he's attractive. Like - if he's handing me something his fingers touch my hand. Or if he's sitting on the couch and I walk past and almost brush against him.

Touching me overtly doesn't really get my attention, though. Like a handshake probably won't really blip my radar. There's some sort of subtle energy about almost and light touches that makes it effective.

Voices - low baritone and bass - can absolute get me turned on instantly. In fact, that might be more effective than physical / proximity contact.

The way a guy carries himself when he walks - now sometimes that can be a trigger of some sort. I tend to have a thing for the rugged, older types. A bit of country boy can go a long way.

So when you read my stories - those moments where he touches her fingers or brushes the hair off her neck, those are peak highs for me - serious turn ons while writing and reading erotica.

Well the sight of a well turned out man sliding down the sidewalk can do it for me. Or great abs at the beach. So yes, I am.
