In terms of loosening me up, I think alcohol makes me less shy/inhibited. I don't get dancing-on-the-table drunk all that often, though...but then again, I don't need to be drunk to dance on a table.

Alcohol definitely loosens me up and after a couple of drinks I am less shy. ... less inhibited but always aware of what I am doing. Without alcohol I am too tied up in what people think instead of just having fun.
