Eh, it's rough. I tried to use every fantasy I had at the time. There's some slightly pretentious stuff in there too.

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)
I think I might be unique here as the first thing I published here was the prologue to a book. Yes, I did complete it and have now written three follow-up novels, plus a few short stories.
“The Alpha Man In Me” - Chapter 00 - Prologue | Lush Stories
My Dirty Talk comp entry: Knickerless
A gay standalone story: The Queens Head
A standalone story: A Good Life
A standalone office sex story: Back in the Office
What a fun prompt! My first erotica was short stories I wrote for my partner in the early 2000s when we were long-distance dating back in college.
The first story I published here was back in 2015, about losing a bet: https://www.lushstories.com/stories/exhibitionism/winning-the-bet-part-1
It turned out to be the first chapter in a series, though I didn't know that at the time, I just had this scenario in my head and wanted to express it.
I don't like to compare my old writing to my new writing. I've learned and grown from everything I've written. If I were to write it today, it'd probably turn out longer, but I'm not sure it would be better, just different. Oh and I tend to default to a female POV now. Back then, I flip-flopped between them a lot.
I started off with a few poems because I figured that would be easy (not necessarily good.) My first story was a Flash piece, the first time I wrote erotica in my life in 2015. I don't consider myself as being a particularly talent writer, I can write an average story but realize there is nothing fresh or new.
It was really my second story, written as a first person lesbian that kind of got me going. I liked the challenge of writing from the opposite gender's perspective.
As for rewrites or things I would change: I always seem to catch at least one thing AFTER I post. As I've improved my writing I see more things I wish I would have written differently. With most stories I write I'm usually very happy with parts of it but I don't maintain that consistency throughout. The resources here as well as chats, comments etc have all been massively instructive as well as reading the work of better writers.
Lastly I write because its fun. I don't get too concerned about having the most views or whatever. Its fun.
Had my first one published today -- "The First Time We Kissed"
Since its so new, I'll let it fester before making changes
I just reread my first one. It was short, clumsy, and a grammatical nightmare. My writing has come a long way since I am on story #75. The more you do, the better you become.
My first story here didn't get published, for which I am eternally grateful.
My first published story The Restaurant still holds up pretty well. It was a lesbian story with a Domme, a needy submissive and a twist in the tale.. 160 stories later, I seem to be still exploring the same themes.
2 competition winning stories, 1 Famous story, a smattering of Editor's Picks, a handful of Recommended Reads and one Clitorides award are scattered amongst my stories.
One of a handful of writers to get the Omnium badge for writing in every category
For a book club with a difference... try this lesbian romp
My first few pieces published on Lush were poems. My first actual story was The Matinee back in January of 2009. It’s still a fun story, but I’d like to think I’ve improved my writing skills since then. 😎

Help this story become famous:
I wrote my first story here at 18, I called a man in his late thirties “middle aged” which now that I’m in my thirties is pretty hilarious. I can’t read it back because of how much it makes me cringe otherwise I would definitely redo every aspect of it.
Am new here!
Please give feedback!

My first was My Secret
I wrote volumes for my own eyes growing up, but never had courage enough to share till I landed here. I guess it reads okay, but that can be said about all my little forays. I made no big splash, but at least my hair stayed dry.
