I've told no one. The wife knows that I read them, but that's all. Although I like the idea of a lady friend finding out, but together we keep it a secret.
only my friends on Lush, although they have seen things i have written....but not published....wish lush had members who would like to help finish articles for publication !
The more people that know the merrier I say, it helps spread the word and brings traffic to my profile here and my writing elsewhere and my website. Funny experience at Xmas, letting my 63 year old mother read one of my posts.
I was all like 'I'm cool and open minded perhaps we'll discuss it after' she didn't say ANYTHING, not. one. thing. UM .

No-one I know (as far as I know) is aware that I write stories here and get up to all the paraphernalia that comes with visiting a place like this: the saucy chats, the sexy chats, the singularly unique intimacy, the masturbation, the cams, the emails, the pics... It's something I do for me. Just me. The rest of my life is for the people around me, but I need this quiet secluded spot to express that other side of me. I'm surprised at how many people here are in the same boat - having a 'secret affair' with Lush. Beware: it is addictive and possibly destructive. Accept that as gospel. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

Wow, that's a lot of devotion, A. I am just purely not good enough at hiding my activities. I stand in awe...well, hell, I mean of more than your writing!
I have a few close friends with whom I work that actually love to help me with story ideas..they actually tease me and call me Contessa..and can't wait for a story to publish so I can print it out and let them read it.. My husband is my editor so he is very aware and is my biggest fan and hardest critic. When I wrote my first story on lush he was so supportive. He actually took the first 15 stories I wrote and had them put in a hard cover book for me. I will cheerish that gift from him always. I can't wait until he takes the last 15 I wrote and does the same thing...(hint, hint).
My ex, and my best friends forever!!!
Since high school pretty much My wives have been the only ones to know I am writing and what. You tell most people you write anything, even as a hobby, and they look at you like you have a six inch penis growing out of the middle of your forehead. There are a couple of real close friends who know I write. My family has no idea I've really written anything in years. However I am guessing that could all possibly change within the next year or so since I chose to publish under My real name instead of Master Vyle. LOL

-Michael C. Laney (hehe)
Only a close friend knows. My family doesn't know and I'd like to keep it that way. It's a part of my life (like someone above me mentioned) that I'd like to have for me and just me.
It's a choice only you can make. Tell others why, unless you feel compelled to. Could be difficult!
Two people, so far, my best friend and my writing buddy who thinks I should submit to playboy or penthouse or something.

Boyfriend doesn't know yet... probably only a matter of time. I suck at keeping secrets. I'm hoping the reaction I get is "all these guys lusting over my girlfriend and she's all mine, sweet!" rather than, "stop flirting with other guys you unfaithful harlot."

Time will tell :P
My boyfriends knows but that's it. We have a great relationship and we both trust each other completely. Our sex life is very exploratory but he knows I have a much higher sex drive than him. He realizes I need other outlets. He has read a couple of my stories but there are a couple he can never read. ('Unexpected Bonus' is a fantasy I have about his boss which I don't think he would enjoy nearly as much as I do...)
I write non-erotica, I do need to say I am very impressed with the collective creativity here in comparision to other amatuer writing sites. The authors on the non eroctia sites seemed to sacrifice all art in order to be word perfect. Albeit their commas are perfectly placed their shit is so safe it makes my eyes bleed.
I do not consider them Dirty at all, I consider my stories very erotic. I know they are fantasy they are my fantasy and others find them HOT, I love to make others hot and know that I can reach them with the written word and not a touch or kiss but caress the mind. I love that. I find there is power in that. I told a few ppl many on a nudist site and many in my life, I want them to read it and see what they think...I am just getting started. I will feel the power pulsate through my being and feel my juices flow between my lips as well as the creative juices of the mind.
Read on dear ones, read on.
Moaning Meri
Looks like I'm not the only secretive author around. Nobody who knows me, knows I write as Alison Ames. I like to keep my fantasies a secret between me and hopefully a few thousand readers. LOL

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
Nobody in my life knows that I write erotic stories and share them here. It's my own little secret.
Interesting...my sister Barbara, actually she is my step-sister, I haven't talked to much this year...she lives up in the New England area...anyway, she is a Facebook friend, but she does not go on there much...apparently she did recently...and I post all my writing related stuff on FB, the only reason I joined was to share stuff with other writers...

She sent me a note today via FB..."lol love you writing Al! Good for you! I have always read harlequin and porn books lol. Ever read Anne Rices Sleeping beauty series??"

So, I gave her a bit of my writing story...and, of course, sent her the links to my profiles here and on Stories Space...

So...be interesting to see what she thinks of my writing...

And maybe she'll end up joining this fine site known as Lush Stories...

Btw, my mother read a few of my stories recently..."Sexual Healing"..."Merry Christmas, Baby"...I told her that her dog is in it, it is btw...and my contest entry over on SS..."The Birthday Party"...and a few poems...

She liked all three...heck, she even gave "The Birthday Party" a 5 vote...

Well, at least that's what she said anyway...

You know you want it, you know you need it bad...get it now on Amazon.com...
Lush Erotica, an Anthology of Award Winning Sex Stories
So far, just one of my two roommates. Interestingly enough, when I told him I was writing erotic fiction, he told me he's done the same in the past.
Ha! I write pretty stories so I'm not sure I'm comfortable with too many people knowing that I write sexy stories.

The only ones who know are the ones who are already interested in the things I write about. That eliminates the factor of someone reacting badly.
Two of my friends are now aware that I write on an erotic story website, and one of them (who writes similar things herself) has read some of my work.

It's not something I have much desire to share with many people in my life. If you knew me in person, you would almost certainly not guess at this side of me. It would certainly not be the end of the world if everyone found out, but I don't want to have that conversation too often.
No one in my life knows.

I´m not sure if I want to tell anyone.

I think everyone has their secrets - lush is one of mine.
A few know my dark secrets ...
"When it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm already better than them." -Marilyn Monroe
No one! It's my own secret place. A few of my colleagues know I write "fiction" pseudonymously in my spare time, but no one knows the nature of that fiction. I think that they would be surprised....
The husband knows I'm on here and he knows I write but he doesn't know the subject matter.
Really, sex and laughter do go very well together, and I wondered - and I still do - which is more important.
No one knows this side
Three of my Girlfriends know and they've all read SOME stories, (but not all) and liked them. Two of my Guy friends know, one, though not an erotica fan thought they were well-done... The other friend flatly refuses to take a look and insists we're a bunch of immature perverts...

(One of the main reason I don't discuss my Lush writing with my friends is that I often write stories and they can be VERY HARD TO EXPLAIN to civilians who don't get what we do... One of the reasons I love Lush so much is that nobody here thinks that because I write it, I'd DO it.... I've written about being fucked by another man, and the only way I'd EVER do THAT is if I was in prison and it was a 'your ass or your life' situation... And I'm flattering myself here I know... (Ha!) I have to say I find it frustrating that a lot of people REALLY don't get what we do... I mean, nobody thinks Thomas Harris is all-in-favour of Serial Killers..... Sheesh!)
