I'm still working on and off on Cordelia's Feet 9 and the mystery story, 'A Stranger in our Bed', but now I've also started three other storylines that didn't want to let me go (blame it on the plot bunnies): 'The Cheating Game', a story about a flirting game that gets out of hand, 'The Things We Do For Holidays', where a high school senior does an awsome lot to be able to afford going on holidays with her friends, and 'Ticket Girls - Raving Horny', a trip back in time to the "good old days" of techno raves, danced-through nights and uninhibited carnality.

I'm glad I'm not the only writer who suffers from this. Part of the reason I'm stalled right now is that I can't seem to finish one idea before the next worms it's way into my brain.

I've been awol from Lush for a long time - this thread grew quite a bit. How's progress on all the above?

Right now I'm writing on 2 new series: Vespa's Sapiens [alien domination of the human race. Sorry - but the sci fi lover in me decided it's time to breed the humans out one kink at a time]. Gods of Lust [aka - Thor Porn smut series].

And between those two series concepts I'll be busy all year - so far I've written 40,000 words this year just on the first two installments. Now between all of that I'm going to write short stories - get a few new things posted strictly to Lush while I'm at it.

My work in (slow) progress is starting to look like it could span a few installments... The first one's done, but I don't know how the conclusion's looking like yet. I might never finish this, but I'm definitely writing something for Lush soon. It's been way too long.

So just an update, I posted the 2nd and 3rd installment of The Gift. Cajeta y Chocolate has also been posted. Recently I posted my latest two, DJ's Dad and Desert Heat (see signature panel below). Currently, because of popular demand, I am working on sequels/followup to some of my other stories. In the works, 3rd installment of the Through the Storm/After the Storm series, fourth installment of The Gift, and 2nd installment of DJ's Dad. So, yeah, I'm quite busy.

I'm working on a second chapter for "Want" and "When He Plays Piano In The Dark". I know, simultaneously is not such a good idea. However, it's working for me. Actually it takes some of the pressure off. I write a little there, I write a little here. It depends on which characters are talking the loudest.

As for my WIP, I'm kind of flailing right now. Three stories and none really progressing. I've got two teachers keeping each other warm on a snow day (which we get plenty of here in my part of Canada), a first time/coming of age story (hopefully different from Chuck's), and two couples rebooting their relationships with some impromptu swinging.


Update: all of these are "hanging fire". I'll probably come back to them eventually but they kind of lost momentum. I'm presently working on two parts (simultaneously) of a piece that may go longer. It's first person about a husband dealing with both his wife's adultery and his own (with the wife's sister).

I'm resurrecting my stalled entry for the flash oral competition last year. There was no way I could get it done in under a thousand words. It's a bout a woman who takes a little time out on her way home to do something just for her.

Unlike any of my previous stories, I'm actually going to try this one in third person. And if they'll have me, I'm going to try and submit it to The Vault.
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.

Hah, seems I'm not the only one with unruly, never-finished comp entries crawling around my hard drive and pleading to be finished every so often. Got two half-finished attempts for "Put a Spin on It" here that may yet see the light of day, one a casino gambling story, the other a modern and rather free interpretation of Grimm's Hansel and Gretel.

Works in progress is a much better description of what I have. I never seem to be able to get any one thing done before I am off working on another. But it works for me and I will get them all finished eventually.
