Do you like a story with mostly dialogue or none at all? Me I like dialogue more
Favorite type of story's on here Reluctance. with or without dialogue as long as it's hot. Meaning the words get me hot and bothered. The scene and the actions between the characters also have to be good.
My favourite type of story is... well written with an actual plot and complex characters? Favourite genres are Reluctance/BDSM, as those are psychologically complex.
Dialogue as in dirty talk or a normal conversation? Both can be amazing or completely redundant in a story.
My favorite stories are well written, explicit "wife lover" stories. Somehow they seem hotter if the writer is a woman and she tells how she loves what she does.
anything with teens in them or young adults
the ones Ash and Xuani write smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I agree and of course anything Her Royal Spriteness writes too!!!
The well written love stories full of passion. The kind of story where when you read them you actually feel as if you are there helping or enjoying the moment. heart
The unlikely 'nobody hurt' train wreck.

You got your ass knocked off, but...everyone lived through it to continue fucking other people up in the future.

I like dialogue that comes across as natural and fits with the scene. I also prefer erotica where the sex scene is part of a bigger story that pulls me in and makes me want to know more about the characters. Emotion is good, too.
Dialogue has to be fitting with the story, I agree.

But my favorite type of story doesn't need specifics, other than well-written,
well-rounded characters in my favorite genres.
Are you truly awake?
reluctance (male or female) is my favourite genre, but they have to be well written, grammatically sound and preferably with dialogue - the latter often adds to depth of characters and draws me in to the story.

"If history repeats itself, and the unexpected always happens, how incapable must man be of learning from experience?" - George Bernard Shaw
Well I like a real "story" with a plot and characters and dialogue that seems real. I love certain authors and can really get into almost any category if the story is good. I do like first time, old/younger, lesbian and I like stories that have unexpected twists in them.

In a nutshell!
Favourite topics would cover my preferences as well.

I think dialogue is crucial in stories. Why would i want someone to explain a sex scene to me? i could just watch porn its faster and better. The reason i read a story is to get some sort of investment and character development that i wouldn't get from porn, this makes the eventual sex scene much more erotic.
Im recently married, so I'm am finding the "wife lover" stories really interesting. We (my Wife and I) have talked briefly about maybe one day having an Open Marriage, or allowing each other to wander occasionally. Haven't decided to definitely do it yet, but maybe in the future we will experiment.

Also while ago i had a webcam chat with my ex and afterwards i was horny so had a wank and didn't realise the cam was still on... we had some fun on webcam after that. so i like this type of story as it reminds me of that experience.
Realistic dialogue, and power and control switch, somewhat kinky.
Honestly I like everything as long as it is well written, realistic, and has some depth. I do suppose I prefer at least some dialogue though, as that ads to the realism and depth if it's well incorporated into the story.
I prefer a story: a beginning, a middle, and an end. It should include concept(s), character(s), theme(s), and structure. The main character should face some type of conflict (man vs. man, man vs. nature, man vs. himself, etc.) The amount of dialogue is irrelevant.

Dude... FINALLY, You've come up with a good story idea!

You can call it Lesbo Virgin Sisters in Heat vs. Dracula.

Fuck man... That's a good idea.

I'll help you co-write if you star as Dracula with that butt cheeks hairdo that Gary Oldman had in that one movie with Wynona Ryder. We can make the lesbo sisters blonde and thin like you like and I can play Van Helsing. But I'll be Wang Helsing and I'll bang the sisters after I stake you... I'll let you write the staking scene for you to interpret how you like... I can stake you nice and slow or violently. However feels right for the story.
I don't think the OP was asking so much about genre/group as much as style.

I like descriptive styles. It seems like it's sort of a better match for erotic stories. For one thing, I always think it looks a little bit silly to actually see *in writing* the sorts of things people say while in the throes of passion. In particular, in BDSM stories, like I write, trying to be all onomatopoeic when describing people crying out in pain after being spanked or whipped or the like... It's really a challenge to make it not just look *silly*.

As for genres... I just don't get why **Content removed by moderator. Violates Lush TOS.** is seemingly the most popular one. Maybe it's because my sister is 12 years older than me, and I never got along with her very well. *shrug*

Well written Wife lover and certain **Content removed by moderator. Violates Lush TOS.**stories really get me going.
I like a bit of plot with my sex. Characters that read like people rather than rubber dolls. Some interior monologue and motivation. Details that work to put you in the scene.

The reluctance category is fun because it provides built-in conflict, which is exciting.

I most enjoy stories describing the action, not so much dialog. I suppose that's because I don't like a lot of dialog in life, especially during sex. It's hard to talk with my mouth full anyway.
I like the kind in which people orgasm..I'm funny that way
A mixture of both. As long as it's well written and enticing and you can imagine the scene unfolding in your mind, it will be a great story. I usually read reluctance stories.
I usually read cliff-hangers, nail-biting, intriguing, eyebrow-raising books/stories that's scholarly written. I want to read that would somehow leave a great question/aftershock that seeing that book would completely remind you of the plot. **Content removed by moderator. Violates Lush TOS.**
will read most anything except **Content removed by moderator. Violates Lush TOS.**, but faves at the moment would be lesbian and first time
