So do you? Remember the first explicit sexual story you ever read? Were you very young and was it weird/ funny/ turning on?
I used to peruse the dirty mag collection of the couple I babysat for in my late teens (yes, I was 16) and there was something I read in one about two young women watching a couple make love from a hiding place in a closet, then playing with each other. Was written as a piece of Victorian erotica but not sure if it actually was or whether it was just written that style. Couldn't tell you the mag, the year, or anything, though it must have been c. 1981-1982. The image presented in the story stuck with me but not the details. That's the earliest I can think of so there's a good chance it was the first. Later, I got into Penthouse Variations for a while, preferring that to just perusing the pictures in Penthouse proper (though I did that, too).
Yes, as high school boys, we passed around a copy of Penthouse Forum. There was one rule, if anyone made that copy sticky, the rest of us would kick their ass.
* wrong thread *
I would have to say it was "Candy" by Terry Southern when I was maybe 12. So it was weird, exciting, and funny. Maybe not the ideal sex education but explains a lot about me :-)
I am not positive if it was the first one but one I remember when I was a teen was in Penthouse about a girl and several of her GF having a sleepover and they talked about any sexual experiences they have had. They all got really turned on and eventually the girls experimented with each other. No idea if it had a name or not.

That theme has been a big turn on for me ever since!
Not really the first story. I was shown a magazine full of nude girls and stories by a boy. Some of the stories were interesting so I do remember reading them but not the content in detail.
My first erotic book was called "Forever" Judy blume wrote it. I was a young teen. It was racy.

Giggle,
xo
My first erotic story was a lesbian story and I just read it super fast so no one could notice I took it. Then searched on that drawer and found sex guidance books. But I think the first erotic story that I read was here on lush because others I don't even put attention, was just a normal reading and skipped so many pages and parts. Experience was so funny and at same time was anxious.

Wow, that's interesting. Unrelated but it reminds me of a section from a book I read where a young boy enters an abandoned cinema hall one night, whose roof has been destroyed by German bombing during the War. From the balcony of the hall, he spies a couple making love among the seats beneath him. The first time he has ever seen lovemaking (on-screen or off). And the three of them are the only ones present in the giant theater lit by the moon.
I think I was in (edited by moderator for content) school when a beat up copy of "The Godfather" was passed around. We were very titillated by the sex scene between Sonny Corleone and Lucy Mancini (she was the bridesmaid at a wedding). It's more explicit in the book than in the movie.
An old favorite story of mine: The Chaise Lounge
I was in high school and had just gotten into Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and her other books when I talked my dad into getting me her Sleeping Beauty Chronicles for my birthday. Little did I know what I had just purchased. From chapter 1, I had been forever corrupted and found a new love for the world of erotica.
I do indeed! It was on a different site and the story was called "Mr. Irresistable." To this day, I remember that story and wish I had the "Power of the Pimp."

I know I was a teenager, but I honestly couldn't say how old. Probably 17 and it turned me on like crazy. It's a heck of a long story, so it took a while to get through it. Kind of surprised I didn't hurt myself jerking it that much. lol

Interesting. I remember being very turned on by erotic stories I read online the first quite a few times. Can't remember a specific story. But the first ever instance of reading an adult scene was in a Robert Ludlum book. Before I read that I didn't know people were allowed to write about 'this stuff'.
Mine was very short in a mens magazine. From then, I was hooked.
The Story of 'O'. Magnificient

May I please remind everyone that this is an adult site and there is zero tolerance for any posts referring to any underage activity (16 years of age or less).

Please refrain from any such posts.
Excuse me? We aren't talking about or first sexual acts in this thread, but about the first time we were reading erotica. Are you seriously implying, that the admission, that I was reading something when I wasn't 16 yet, is against the rules? That's like getting arrested in Florida for talking about beer before your 21st birthday.

In many countries being gay is a crime, and even in modern societies, politicians try to legalise discrimination. Your voice can make a difference. Have a look at All Out to find out how.

cops in florida are total dicks. i was once pulled over near Miami for thinking about lighting up a joint when i got home.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I don't know any cops in Florida, or in America for that matter, but I believe you. They must be, if they can enforce laws that allow a 16 year old to carry a lethal weapon, but make a criminal out of an adult (because I think a 20 year old is an adult) who drinks a beer or smokes a joint.

Underage is underage period. We had some posts mentioning ages that were completely unacceptable and I felt it was necessary to send out a friendly reminder.

I've carefully checked the rules, and I can only conclude that you are bending in stead of applying them.

The age limit is mentioned in two places:
1. The guidelines for submitting stories. They basically say, story characters must be 16 or older. There are and were however no stories in this thread, and as far as I've seen, no sexual acts either. Therefore this rule has no meaning here.
2. The forum guidelines. They literally say:
"I agree not to discuss or make mention of the subjects: , , sex with underage people (under 16), child abuse, dangerous sexual acts, drugging, suicide or , either in the forums, chat rooms, messaging, comment areas or in member profiles."
I fail to see, how mentioning I've read erotica or even porn and telling how that made me feel, constitutes a violation of this rule. Reading is not sex.

Fantastic and I really appreciate you bringing the rules into this thread that we are trusted to enforce as moderators of this amazing site.

I do have to point out the one thing you are not privy to are the posts we had to modify or delete to lead up to the reminder. We strive to keep this site clean and leave no grey areas when it comes to anything underage. Should you require more explanation in regards to this I would suggest you use this link to find out more, privately.

First of all, I do appreciate the effort the team puts in maintaining this site and its standards. That however doesn't mean I have to agree with every decision. I think there is nothing in this discussion, that needs the shroud of privacy, so I would prefer to continue this in the forum.

Exactly to what am I not privy? If you read my post carefully, you'll find that I wrote "there are and were". I have read those posts you have deleted before you did so, and in all those posts I found exactly one sentence, that came close to breaking the rules. Even that sentence, the one that contained the word " sticky", did not describe any sexual act or even name it. It merely suggested an activity, one btw, that is common among adolescents boys of any age, and one that is openly discussed anywhere where sexual education is subject, including schoolclasses.

I agree, that describing a 14-year old performing that act in an erotic story would cross every line drawn. But this isn't a story, this is a forum thread, and not one about sex but about reading, actually, about an aspect of growing up.

As a comparison: how would you have responded, if the subject had been "How old were you when you became a parent" and someone answered 14? The implications of that simple statement go way beyond those of "sticky pages".

Last, but not least, even if the suggestion of an underage sexual act in this context was a violation, which it isn't in my humble opinion, you could have simply removed the offensive sentence or the age reference in stead of the entire reaction.

Seems like there were other posts that you haven't seen then, there was mention of sexual activity far under the age of 16.

Fantastic, I do not remember being a sexual education class. I do know we are an erotic stories site. It is very easy for "questionable" people to to troll for information on these forums. Why on earth would we even give them a bone to nibble on by having anything less than a zero tolerance towards the subject? The internet is such an easy place to do so (as you well know).

So because it's in a forum thread versus a story makes acceptable?

Again, you haven't seen each and every post we have dealt with in this matter. We do appreciate your feedback.

I give up. You apparently know what I did and did not read better than I do.

Isn't that what happens before we have to start using viagra or cialis and have to buy matching bathtubs and put them outside in the yard?
I remember it clearly. It was a mainstream novel about the building of Stone Henge. In it though, were two or three very explicit sex scenes that really struck me right to the core. They were probably fairly tame by Lush standards, but at the time, holyshit.

The book was called, the Ancient of Days, and it really had a profound effect on me.

Edit. There are two books by this name. This one was written by Irving A Greenfield.
I read several penthouse magazines, and enjoyed them.

I can remember the first story I read here on Lush. It was the series "The Sex Rehab Diaries" by Dancing Doll. It was amazing and enough to bring me back biggrin
