Aw, how could I have forgotten Zombieland?? It's awesome! XD

Gasp! And I thought you were a total nerd! XD Hmm, but now I really want to watch Zombieland :P
Oh! I'd like to add one more movie to this list! Zombie foreign film: Dead Snow!

I saw "Porn Zombies" it was very funny, it looked like a college film and the make up was done like it was for halloween.

The guts were obviously offal from a butcher shop. It was a fun silly film. Though the trailer for another movie on the same disc had me wanting to vomit. Fliming someone from a first person perspective being tortured and killed is not my thing.

Shaun of the Dead is the zombie film I enjoyed the most. Zombieland was good too. I'm not sure if 28 Days Later counts as a zombie movie, but I liked that one too. The people with the rage weren't the living dead, just victims of the virus.

Of the Romero movies, I liked Dawn of the Dead best. I didn't care much for any of the remakes, and I saw Night of the Living Dead before I was really old enough to appreciate it.

I love zombie films in general though, and I'm pretty easy to please.

I think most people would consider it a zombie movie though technically it isn't.
At least not a tradition corpse zombie movie.

The soundtrack was fab!!

Not a huge fan of zombies, but the above and Shaun of the Dead was awesome too!!!

28 Days Later was okay, but I did find 28 Weeks Later kinda scary...

Zombieland and (I don't know if it counts) Michael Jackson's Thriller music video 'cause it's just awesome.

Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland are a couple of my favorite zombie movies.

And I think I should give Return of the Living Dead a watch soon.

Has to be "Shaun Of The Dead". Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are two comic geniuses. I don't like to throw the term around lightly, but it's totally applicable in this case.

I just saw World War Z, and it was decent. A new take on a zombie movie, I suppose. Although, the two that are tied, and it looks like they always will be are, Zombieland, and Shaun of the dead. Both perfect 10s, and instant classics too.

You're on point with Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. I was happily surprised with the ending for Shaun of the Dead.

Nobody mentioned a movie where a guy dies, supposedly for our sins, and then comes back to live yet?

I'm far from an expert about zombies, but I loved the Dawn of the Dead remake (2004). I never watched the original so I can't really compare though.

I'm surprised no one mentioned it so far...

- Great action sequences
- Humorous
- Great survival interactions between the characters
- Nice plot evolution
- 'Good' ending

Hmm, this is tough. I like a lot of zombie films, the first two Resident Evil's were good after that they kinda got shit. Zombieland, Dawn and Shaun of the dead, 28 days later.

I'll probably go with Warm Bodies as the guy who plays R is kinda cute lol. But it also has added another dimension to zombies (like my zombie stories lol) Not all zombie films have to be about blood, guts and brains.

I'm gonna go with Shaun of the Dead as my favourite.

However if we're talking genuine horror, I'm going to go with Paranormal Activity. Last week I saw the DVD and thought to myself "this was a good movie, why did I stop watching it?" then the last 10 seconds reminded me.

Good times.

Comparing The Walking Dead to actual movies, I find myself less enthused by most zombie films. I did like Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead.

I also recently got a chance to watch Warm Bodies and it's SUCH a cute zombie movie - especially in that it managed to do something fresh with a genre that's been done to death. silly

It definitely rounds out the top three for being funny, quirky, fresh and very watchable.

Also - for those that like Zombies and British humour - the TV series 'In The Flesh' was really funny and intelligent as well. You can catch the episodes on youtube if you can't find it elsewhere online.
