I don’t know if it counts as a super hero flick in the traditional sense.

But one of my favorite movies is The Rocketeer.

Doesn’t hurt to have Jennifer Connelly at her peak. She was simply ravishing.

I missed this post by the newly awesome honeydipped earlier. It most certainly does and with the addition of Split and the upcoming Glass, it's perhaps the first original (ie. not based on another source) movie superhero universe.

The older version of Spawn was good, the newer one not so good. The older Superman series are good.
New Bat Man series are good. Spiderman series are good. Captain America is good. Green lantern is good.
I like all of those.

I had to look the Black Panther movie up since it was in the news a bit, but then I traded for a pirate of the full movie,
and watched over half of it. A bit at the beginning, middle, and the end.

It was over-rated I think, story-line was blah blah blah, characters were ok, but the acting was even worse along with the fake/B movie, Japanese ninja style fighting.
The stats show it didn't seem to do well in Europe, definitely didn't do well here, only a bit better in Asia,
did ok in Russia and Australia, no stats/not allowed in most of the middle east, no stats from Africa,
I didn't look for Canada, mexico, or South America, and of course it did best in the U.S.
It was an ok movie, but it seemed very much racially biased, and I wouldn't spend Euro on popcorn to see it...
There are far better movies out there that don't show other racial cultures as dumbasses or idiots
like the Black Panther movie and his character so obviously do.

Apparently, the MCU is looking to break out into more international superheroes.

I just found out that Marvel is planning on doing a Captain Britain and the Black Knight movie.



Apparently Guy Ritchie is set to direct.

I'll be interested in seeing how this works out.
