In the film Alice, when Alice is in her armor to battle the Jabberwocky. "Off with YOUR head!"
In "The Return of the King" when Eowyn slays the Nazgul "I am NO man!"
In "Aliens" when Ripley dons the loader exoskeleton. "Stay away from her, you BITCH!"
Well, since I am a female and not much of an action movie person, I am going with the romantic.....
One of the most romantic scenes I have ever seen is the "flying" scene with Jack Dawson and Rose at the front of the Titanic.
Secret Life of Walter Mitty Where he stuns himself by getting on a helicopter and jumping from it later
I define nothing. Not beauty, not patriotism. I take each thing as it is, without prior rules about what it should be.

Pretty Woman: Vivian Ward to Edward Lewis: Lights, Light would be good here.
Gone with the Wind: Rhett Buttler to Scarlett O'Hare: Your should be kissed and kissed often by someone that knows how.
The movie "Wait Until Dark," when Alan Arkin does the leap at Audrey Hepburn
The movie "The Graduate" the seduction scene when Dustin Hoffman cups Anne Bancroft's breast; he is in total awe and she reacts like just another day in the life
The Good The Bad & The Ugly, where Clint Eastwood shoots the noose - love it every time it happens. Also, it reminds me of the Muse Knights of Cydonia video.
Saving Private Ryan
Where the American soldier is too scared to take ammunition to his buddies up on the second floor of a house and then cries on the stairs after they are killed in hand to hand combat in the room. I recall someone telling me what the German soldier says before he puts the knife into the American soldier's heart "be quiet I am going to kill you now".
I have never watched the movie again. It is too annoying to see that scene
I have a few ...
Big Jake - the final fight between John Wayne and Richard Boone. Boone is lying on the ground about to die, looks up at Wayne and says, "I thought you was dead." Wayne replies, "Not Hardly."
Young Frankenstein - Cloris Leachman puts her face beside the painting of the original Dr. Frankenstein as says, "He Van My Boyfriend."
Quiet Man - John Wayne is dragging his wife (Maureen O'Hara) through the countryside to give her back to her brother. As he is pulling her by the coat collar a woman comes up to way, hands him a tree branch and says, "Here's a nice stick to beat the lovely lady." (of course, in an Irish accent)
The Long Grey Line - Tyrone Power (plays Martin Mar) has lost money betting on a football game between West Point and the Irish of Notra Dame. His father (played by Donald Crisp) who has come to America from Ireland and confronts his son on losing the bet. He says to his son, "That will teach you to never bet against Holy Mother the Church) ... of course, in an Irish accent.
And finally, Patton - when Patton has set up a trap for Rommel's Africa Corps, he is watching the battle from a hill top. As he watches he yells, "Rommel you magnificent bastard, I read your book!"
9 1/2 weeks loved everything about the movie
At THE VERY END of the Speilberg Movie 'The Empire Of The Sun' a VERY YOUNG Christian Bale, (having spent five years and the movie in a Japanese POW camp...) is greeted BY HIS MOTHER, (who escaped capture...) in a displaced persons camp... IN A SCENE NOT IN THE JG BALLARD BOOK, he looks ASTONISHED at this vision of everything he USED to be and...
(In a FUCKING STUNNING piece of catharsis...) REACHES his ASTOUNDED fingers to SMUDGE her lipsticked lips...
EVERY TIME I see that scene I WAIL...
xx SF
(And a SPECIAL MENTION to another scene NOT in the original book/novel... In the movie "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas" there is a scene where AFTER the Young Nazi Girl has decided SHE is too old to PLAY with her dolls, the young boy goes EXPLORING... He finds a cupboard under the stairs containing his sisters many piled and naked abandoned and forgotten dolls...) It is NOT a scene PLAYED for drama... You get it or you don't... It is perhaps HE MOST CHILLING IMAGE of that tragedy I have ever seen...)
As a WRITER, I am no REAL fan of Directors... But... EVERY NOW AND AGAIN...

The scene in "La Jettee" where the woman opens her eyes upon waking up ..the entire movie is one still photograph after another, and when the director breaks from that for a few seconds of motion picture, it hits you in the gut...at first, you're not sure you saw her eyes actually open...it is quite effective.
“It's nice sometimes to open up the heart a little and let some hurt come in. It proves you're still alive.”
In Kill Bill when Uma beats her way out of the coffin. And after, walking into the diner when the dust clears.
She's a saint with the lips of a sinner.

"The Deer Hunter" -- Christopher Walken's Russian roulette scenes.
"King Kong" (the 1933 version) -- the final scene, with the line "It was beauty that killed the beast."
"Philadelphia" -- Tom Hanks's character explaining why he loves opera.
Well I'll offer up two.
1. Final scene of "Manon de Source" when he finds out Jean was his son. Fucking gut-wrenching. For me "Jean de Florette" and "Manon de Source" are a single movie and pretty much deal with every human emotion.
2. "I know it was you Fredo."
