Payback and was different version from what I saw in the theater

The new Harry Potter spin off whatever it was called. Didn't rate.
A Star is Born.

This was so much better than I expected. Bradley Cooper was great... (except for that fake voice he did.) The song was really well written as well. Definitely on of the best of the year.
Get Out.

Love this movie! Finally watched it for the second time.

Bigger.

This is a biopic about Joe Weider, one of the pioneers of modern bodybuilding, health and fitness. There are some very interesting parts of this film, especially seeing the difference in perception of exercise back then. In the 1930s - 1950s the general consensus was that lifting weights was actually "bad for you."

This film however, just doesn't cut it. It's hard to summarize a person's entire life in 100 minutes. The other big issue with this is that it plays more like a pro-Weider propaganda piece than an actual biography. Most successful film biographies show a multi faceted view of the protagonist, warts and all. Weider did some important things, but he also did some very bad things and those were left out completely.

On the bright side, the guy that plays Arnold Schwarzenegger is perfect.

If you have an interest in bodybuilding of the history of the fitness industry then I suggest this movie. Otherwise, I don't think many people would be able to look past the obvious film-making flaws.
At home 'The Odd Couple 2'. I hadn't realised there was a sequel. Thought it was average. In the cinema: Mary Poppins returns. Emilies were both great, but Im afraid the music didn't measure up to the original.
Beautiful Boy, so emotional about addiction, how it affects the person and the families. Scares me to death, since I have young boys. Timothee Chalamet and Steve Carell, gave great performances.

I've seen it twice too! Love that flick.

Fyre, a documentary about a failed music festival. On Netflix. Really good. Like wathching a car wreck in slow motion.

I just watched that too. I also watched Fyre Fraud is a similar doc that came out at the same time. Both are pretty good.

This was very good. It makes Oceans 8 look like a joke.

Great cast, great acting. Great story. And very very dark.
Mary Poppins Returns. Loved it!

Mary Poppins Returns, for the third time, all with different people

It's very very good. The most realistic violence I have ever seen in a movie.

Aquaman.

Oh my god. What trash.

It's obvious that they were trying to do a Thor Ragnorok thing. But it just doesn't work. This movie is an amalgamation of everything that is generally wrong with super hero movies. Bad dialogue. Over the top musical scores. Bad 80's one liner jokes.

Now granted that Aquaman is a a tough character to make cool. The whole thing just seems like a soup of superhero cliches. I'm actually amazed at the relatively high scores for this film. I assume that the majority of those are due to Jason Momoa, and the low bar that the DCU has set.

The MCU works because there is a focus on characters. This is just 90s action movie drivel. Terrible, terrible movie.

I have to comment more. This is such a bad bad movie. Just when I thought superhero movies have turned the corner, they came out with this. All these writers should be fired. Because they are to blame. Not the actors. Definitely not the CGI people. I felt like I was watching 2018 CGI with 1950s dialogue.

7.4 on IMDB? are you fucking kidding me?
