Phantom of the Paradise. Early Brian De Palma movie from 1974.
That movie is startlingly influential, Daft Punk allegedly were inspired by that movie in many ways.

A fantastic movie, vastly unappreciated. A still-relevant story, some great acting and a unique soundtrack. One of my top 5 favourite movies and always recommend it.
For me and my friends its Il Postino, just a gentle well acted film.
9 Songs (2004)
Snowpiercer.
Never met a soul that thought it sucked.

Zorba the Greek with Anthony Quinn….or Lawrence of Arabia…I suppose everyone has seen that but it is a sensational film making, story and acting.
The Brown Bunny (2003) - written, produced, directed, edited and photographed by Vincent Gallo.
The Stunt Man. Peter O'Toole being an absolute maniac.
He's also really good in My Favorite Year.
Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

Dark Star. Sci-fi comedy by John Carpenter. His first movie.
That's a classic! Must see for any Carpenter fan.
It feels weird how many movies I've seen when they get posted on this.

Baise-Moi (2002)......Girls just want to have guns. 😊
Raise the Red Lantern (1991). Early Zhang Yimou film based on a Chinese novella that I later read in translation. Novella was excellent and Zhang did an excellent job of it.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.
It's written(I think) and directed by Shane Black. Robert Downey Jr says It's the movie that essentially convinced Jon Favreau he should star as Ironman.

First time I saw this in a packed London cinema I broke down 😭.
Really? Was it a drive-in cinema? 😊

Love this movie.
Brick. High school noir, and Rian Johnson's first movie.
