I suppose the guidelines in general should be:
1. post only music you like
2. music should be from Latin America or Iberia, which I'll define as:
a. any country in the Americas where the majority of people speak a Romance-based language(s), or the Iberian Peninsula
b. I'll include Québec in the former
c. music from Latin-American artists in the US and Canada
d. music from prominent Latin-American artists in non-Romance languages (e.g. Santana's cover of She's Not There, Los Lobos' cover of Tomorrow Never Knows, I'll even accept Céline Dion).
e. I might as well include music in American aboriginal languages, even in the US and English Canada
Much of the inspiration and content comes from this thread on another site (not in competition with LushStories):
Good morning guys. So this is where we're going to post all the crazy and cool stuff from Latin America. And this means anything because Latin America is the cool version of America. Ok lil' bit of irony but seriously, this is where we are going to post everything from Latin America, simple as that. Feel free to share your discoveries and be happy.
ps: Maybe not everything, just newer sounds, cause I'm thinking about opening another thread for old LatAm rock and music in general (from the 60's, 70's and 80's)
