I try and give my brain a bit of a workout with my morning coffee trying to finish The Guardian's Quick Crossword. Generally takes well under 10 minutes.

It's pretty easy (today's one below - spoiler alert!):

If I'm in the mood, I'll do their cryptic one on the weekend.

Any other crossword fans on site?

If yes, which one do you do and roughly how long does it take?
I love a crossword, I try to complete the Guardian crossword or the Irish Times one
It depends on the day, sometimes I complete the puzzle with a good time and sometimes I just get stumped.
I enjoy the challenge of solving the puzzle.

Whatever was posted is always meant in love and respect never to offend.
I'm also highly likely to have posted this from a phone so there may be typos or odd word changes, auto correct can be a pain.

I've been listening to my kinky pencil here's my current work

I print and work on the Guardian and the FT crosswords. They're the only two I knew of that are still free.
Yep.

I like the New York Times crossword though. The newspaper here prints it every sunday.
I used to do them, and word search puzzles, a lot but rarely do so anymore. Should rectify that. They are good time wasters and give your brain more of a workout than, say, solitaire or masturbation.

Reminds me of a stunt a used to pull to intimidate competitors especially when waiting my turn for a job interview: pull out a reasonably difficult newspaper crossword, rapidly complete the entire crossword with random letters then toss the paper in a trash can.

For years I would work on the New York Times crosswords every day. I discovered that they were ranked in difficulty from Monday through Sunday. Actually, The Sunday puzzle was of about the same difficulty as the mid-week puzzles. The most difficult was the one on Saturday. It always felt great to complete Saturday's since it was the hardest and Sunday's simply because it was somewhat longer and larger than the other days.

In addition, since I was getting those puzzles in the Kansas City Star, I would do the NYT puzzles and also do the local ones in the Star.

I started working on Sudokus when they first came out but eventually, I taught my wife to do them so I could do the crosswords while she did the Sudokus.

I do the Crossword in USA Today, every day
