Today I want to quickly share with you what happened at the beach earlier in the week when I was dog-sitting:
I didn’t know anyone in the town so I was looking forward to a quiet few days of walking (the dog) and working on work and my speedo tan. This was the first time I had been to this beach town (growing up we usually went south to the Gold Coast) and I was surprised just how quiet the beach was considering it is Easter Holidays.
On Monday, after spending a few hours on the beach I was walking back home and I cracked a beer. I couldn’t see any other people and I was walking in my new Addicted speedo with my backpack and loving the warm weather. Then, to my left, in a little bit of a clearing off the beach, I was surprised by a guy standing at the tree line. The beach really isn’t very wide (maybe twenty meters from waterline to where the sand turns to grass, trees, and dunes). He was wearing a pair of Budgy Smuggler speedos and had a beer in his hand as well (it was after 2 pm). He was the third person I had seen in the three hours I had been at the beach.
Had I seen someone ahead of me at the beach I would have wrapped a towel around my waist, but since this guy surprised me I had no chance, and there I was in all my speedo glory.
Then again, he was standing there in all his speedo glory as well so I shouldn’t have been concerned.
When we first saw each other we raised our beers in a polite ‘toast’. As I got closer to him he yelled out to me, “Join me for a beer speedo mate.”
What do you guys think I did?
The blokes name was Eddie, late 40s, had been training for triathlons since COVID started but hadn’t had any races yet but he was looking pretty good in his speedos. He grew up on the island (email me if you want to know exactly where it is), moved away for work, and had moved back after his divorce a few years ago. When I heard that, my heart sunk but my head spun a little bit (married to a woman with kids but hanging out at the beach in AussieBum speedos).
I asked Eddie if the beach was always that quiet and he said it usually was pretty quiet, the whole place is pretty sleepy. I liked it.
We finished our beers and I offered Eddie another one. He accepted.
I toasted to, “Beers and Beaches, doesn’t get much better than this.”
Eddie surprised me again when he replied, “I could think of something that would make it better. Would you like a blowjob, Dave?”
Where did that come from? I thought we were just two straight guys having a beer. Sure we were wearing speedos but Eddie had been married and not many people know about my gay activities. Speedos are pretty common here in Australia, particularly at the pool, when lap swimming most guys wear speedos, so I had assumed it was just one of those things. I had no intention of hitting on Eddie, it was good that he took the lead.
