But I’m here to tell you that real nylon stockings – the queen of hosiery that beautifies your legs and brings heads turning from men – is far from outdated. In fact, it’s one of the most versatile, empowering, and yes, even sexy pieces of lingerie you can wear. For starters pantyhose are very unsanitary– they can tend to stink after a days' wearing from urine drippings and vaginal wetness from sexual arousal. If you should get a ‘run’ in one leg you have to throw the whole pair of pantyhose away. With stockings you just pick out another single one from a matching pair to replace it.
