It was March 2011, in Melbourne Australia. I had just moved away from my mother’s place to begin university in the city. At this point, I had been a closet crossdresser for around three years now.

 I discovered crossdressing earlier on, when I dabbled in my sister’s clothes that she left behind before heading to uni. To me back then, because I didn’t have a typical masculine build I was always made fun off in school for having man boobs and a rounded ass. The skirts and lingerie just made me feel more empowered, like I was wearing some powerful armour!

 Years later and the thoughts still lingered, I wanted to fully embrace it now that I was living alone. I went to uni in Melbourne University, and stayed in a small studio apartment nearby, which was just smack in between that and the city. 

 The thing is, I had always felt that it was more than just dressing up. I felt the need to feel loved like a woman too, to be touched, played with, and admired. These thoughts, scenarios, and fantasies always played in my mind over the years, and the opportunity finally presented itself to me now that I was truly allowed to grow by myself. Don’t get me wrong, my mom knew something was up, but she did say she was okay with me exploring what feels right and to that I am eternally grateful! 

 Now, a bit about my physical appearance. I’m 5’9”, and was around 65 kilos at this time. I had lost some weight at the end of high school, but my man boobs, thighs, and ass were still decent enough. Being of both Persian and some Puerto Rican mix descent, I had a more dark complexion and sharp features; mom was the half Latina! However, living in Australia, people often made me out to be Sri Lankan. I don’t blame 'em. 

 When it came to my fem name, I originally opted for Danielle which was closer in line to my given name. It did not feel right to me, and I left it as it was up till this point. It was when I decided to use Cynthia, coupled with my mom’s maiden name. 

 The story of Cynthia did not actually take off immediately in uni, since I was convinced I could still be ‘manly’, I actually dated a girl for around eight months. She was nice, and was very top heavy, but my ass at the time still looked better in her panties. Alas, that relationship did not last long as she craved something else in her life. If anything, it was the catalyst that spurred me to start exploring Cynthia. 

 At the time, I did regularly shaved my body but not my arms or legs as much. I had moderately long dark hair and sometimes kept a messy stubble. But once she had left me, and I was once again alone to myself, I knew I had to do something. I guess the benefits of dating someone is figuring out how to shop online for anything I wanted, especially outfits. Shein, Amazon, and LoveHoney became my very close friends. 

Life was really mundane and just didn’t feel right up till this point. Being in male clothes, pretending with family and old friends that I was ‘straight’, trying to win my dad’s approval even though he wasn’t in the picture much! But I simply could not hide it any longer. The need to be clad in lace, satin, and exposed clothes called to me. I wanted to know what it felt like to truly be taken when dolled up, and even act out in public like a truly promiscuous vixen. These were the moments that Cynthia was born. 

 The first ever outfit I bought was simple schoolgirl set, with a black bra set. I will begin my journey in the next chapter!
