While i get why you said that, i don't agree - well, i do, it sucked in a way, but not because it wasn't just as amazing as the others. god, i just burst into tears thinking about it. yeah, ok, it sucked in that it left me an emotional wreck, i'll grant you that! lol - i did have one issue with it, but i don't think it's the one everyone else has, and i don't want to give away spoilers, so i'm keeping it out of this discussion. smile

lol, I'm actually relieved that I'm discovering a lot of people appreciating the 3rd book. I should probably read the whole trilogy again. It's just that the plot progression was unexpected, both good and bad. And without giving any spoilers, I just felt that Mockingjay gave away too much in such a short span of time. The narration felt rushed. But, again, it could just be me too. I'm curious to find out what your issue is about the 3rd book.

Rumors say that Gary Ross and Lionsgate are going to be splitting Catching Fire (Book 2) and Mockingjay (Book 3) into 3 movies. If the rumors are true, I'm all for it! And I bet they will be able to handle the storyline thoughtfully.

Anyway, thanks for posting Trailer #2. Jennifer Lawrence is AMAZING as Katniss. and Stanley Tucci as Cesar Flickerman is a brilliant choice.

Besides everything that's been mentioned here (ditto on being multilingual smile ), I'd love to be a helluva good dancer. Good enough to be a backup dancer for all those pop artists out there. It's always been a random fantasy of mine.

Prince - Original Live Recording of "Purple Rain"

pretty powerful stuff

Stimulating my clit and nipples at the same time will get me over the edge, no fail. I do love penetration though, but count me among the few ladies who can't seem to orgasm with just penetration alone. sigh. I'm still on a quest to discovering how I can cum that way.

Hey, Felix. Huge fan of both, though I only got to watch the Battle Royale film directed by Kinji Fukasaku. (Didn't get to read the book by Koushun Takami) Still one of my favorite movies to date.

I also heard about the Hunger Games Trilogy for the first time from a friend whom I trusted for book recommendations and such. I had to scoff inside when he told me what the plot was all about. lol. But I went ahead and gave the book a try. I ended up enjoying the Hunger Games a lot.

It's hard to avoid the blatant comparison re: the plot of young adults being forced to fight each other to the death in an arena. Heck even the "Reality TV" slant is present in both books. But the similarities end there I think. The context of the Hunger Games being set in a post-apocalyptic world really defines the story. I got drawn in to this fantasy world created by the Hunger Games author. And while Battle Royale takes on social issues in a larger-than-life cartoonish way (think Chiaki Kuriyama, tracksuit girl with a balisong knife, stabbing a guy multiple times in the groin), the Hunger Games confronts it in a deeper, more reflective way.

Too bad the trilogy had to end with "Mockingjay" though. The 3rd book sucked. But that's just me :/

I've been wanting to read these books on recommendation by someone's opinion on stuff like this I respect. Only thing though when I looked the books up and read a short description of what they are about, I found it reminded me of another classic I read a few years ago called "Battle Royale". Has anyone that has read the hunger games read battle royal? Or seen the movie based on it? Will the similarities bug me or do they just sound similar but completely different in execution?

Battle Royale book, American release. I doubt anyone else here has read it but if you have read them both I would really like to hear your opinion. (without spoilers of course)

That most memorable compliment I ever got wasn't about physical attributes.

It really moved me when a guy told me that If I ever have a baby, that the baby would be lucky because they'd have a mom who'd sing pretty lullabies to them.

lol. I think that was sweet

Green Tea ice cream & the Avocado one are divine! Very aromatic. There are a couple of ice cream shops around the US that sell those but it's hard to find. Got lucky in Indiana once biggrin

Cheese ice cream is great too. Especially the ones with cheese bits. hehe.

Bacon & potato flavored ones, I'll stay away from those, thank you very much. Getting nauseous just thinking about it.

I've lost count on the number times I touch myself per day. But cumming is a different thing. I orgasm around 3x a week.

HoneyBee got it right. Yes, caressing the underarms is erotically sexy. The first few times my guy buried his face in my underarms, I found it weird as I never really thought of that body part as anything sexual. But it got addicting eventually, I can go from zero to hot in seconds just by smelling my man's underarms. It's not deodorant really. You can smell so much of your partner's raw scent from the underarms. And no, it's not body odor either. lol.

Lisa, I don't think you're any less romantic by being more affectionate on the practical side of things. I actually find it sweeter when my guy goes out of his way to cook for me or make me comfortable at home after a day's work rather than leave little love notes around the house.

I think a lot of folks are romantics on the inside. But it often takes another person who's gained their trust for them to be comfortable enough to bring it out. So yeah, it depends a lot on the partner.

I can say I'm a romantic as well, but more through actions and subtle cues rather than words. I love giving massages even during the middle of the day. I also tend to hug and kiss my guy when I simply feel like it. I've even driven to a guy's workplace at 3 in the morning to make sure he had something to eat. I'm also guilty of sending my guy links to songs that remind me of him. Mushy, but he does the same so it's not so bad. lol.

We met at the fitting section of a lingerie shop. We were swapping tips on how to choose the right bra for our cup size. lol.

Hey folks. It's my first time to post a new topic so hope you'll go easy on me. I got this idea from another topic started by sluttyvirgin about songs that "set the mood".

But have you had any songs played while having sex that ruined the mood in bed?

I was in the heat of making love with my guy when suddenly, Celine Dion's "Power of Love" started playing on pandora (internet radio). It got awkward. It was just too weird listening to that power ballad while snuggling with him. We ended up laughing when his cock started getting soft. I had to reach for my laptop to turn the damn radio off.

Anyone else who's had such luck with music while having sex?

Hmmm... I may be the only 18 yr old girl who doesnt believe in fairy tale endings. Even when I was little I hated disney movies like Cinderalla and Snow white because it all seemed so fake. (Though I would watch Sleeping Beauty repeatedly just bcuz prince philip is drop dead gorgeous) I'm a complete cynic, really. Who the hell is Mr. Perfect? I dont believe in love, only lasting infatuation smile

ditto on Prince Philip. haha

I used to teach web & graphics design and video editing to priests and nuns. lol. That's probably the most random thing I can say about myself.

I probably have a golden ticken to heaven now. *cough*

I am more of a PC gamer. Like rockstar81, I'm quite good at first person shooting games like Left for Dead, Unreal Tournament, or Team Fortress. Though I love Portal 1 & 2... makes me feel smart playing it. lol. RPG games are fun too (Guild Wars, WoW).

It's been a while since I last played though. Work has been eating up most of my time.

send Shotgun off to Six Flags (rollercoaster theme park). Nice change of pace for the usually calm guy :-)

Hi, Jingle. I'm not a writer, but I personally prefer poetry when reading descriptions. I sometimes feel like it breaks the mood when I read maths / measurements / vital statistics when reading a good erotic story.
Active Ink Slinger
LOL @ Charlotte. Amen to that. So glad us ladies have this extra erogenous zone known as breasts.

Am I the only one who gets turned on the most by fingers just lightly brushing over the nipples? That gives me 10x more pleasure than pinching. I don't mind it when a guy pinches my nipples, but it doesn't do as much for me.

The best feeling for me is when my guy strokes my nipples as he gives me oral. (He calls it "NOS", after the nitrous oxide fuel used to boost speed in drag racing). I cum quicker when my nipples are stimulated.

so i guess im alone then, so far. its not my favorite...it breaks my concentration.

Nope, you're not alone LMB. As much as I enjoy a good 69, I'd want my guy to lean back first and enjoy the feel and view of me sucking him before we even start with the 69. It's hard to multitask at times.

Hot, sensual song paired w/ an equally hot, sensual music video.

"Air guitar" - a form of dance and movement in which the performer pretends to play rock or heavy metal-style electric guitar, including riffs, solos, etc. Playing an air guitar usually consists of exaggerated strumming and picking motions and is often coupled with loud singing or lip-synching.

Believe it or not, there's an Air Guitar World Championship held every year at Finland. And this year, the US representative is this man known as "Nordic Thunder"

I had to apologize to my guitarist friends for sharing this. Can't help it. This is 50% ridiculous/funny and 50% pure awesome.

Damn! That must be the most badass tapdancing I've ever seen in my whole life. Kudos to these two guys for keeping the art of tap dance current.

Was looking at some a cappella vids and came across these two;

and I don't even like gaga, but I like these two.

This video is just oozing with natural musicality from these 2 ladies. Loved the wall drumming too.
Active Ink Slinger
Agree with LittleBambi :-) I have this weakness for slightly long hair on men. Not the "rock musician"-type long hair, though. Just long enough for the natural waves of a guy's hair to frame his face a bit around the forehead & temple area, and also long enough for me to run my fingers through it, tug on it a bit to massage his scalp.

Though I don't recall rejecting or criticizing a guy for having short hair either.

With my man
1) oral - 5 min
2) fucking - 30 minutes. He'd hold til I cum at least.
3) anal - 5 min
4) just teasing - Takes a long time, can go for an hour or more
