Trace, not sure if this is the problem, but I've been getting a 'run time' error message for acouple hours now that states:
... insert technical jargon here ...
... Guess I'll drink to excess to pass the time. Anybody else need a drink?

It does seem that the 'www.' portion of Lush is down - no profiles, no mailbox, none of the story stuff. Only part of Lush that's active is forums, mobile, cams and a few others like that - domains that begin with 'https://forum." like this one.

Unfortunately, this means that most of the rumpsters, who I would assume go from their profile or other Lush story pages to this thread, see Lush as being down and go no further. Personally, I discovered by accident that the forums were still up and then found my way here.

Which reminds me of why I am here at your fine establishment. I would like a beer.

And with Carl missing, I was thinking of sneaking another of his 'Blue Moons'. Do you happen to have the combination to his foot-locker?
Weird - a Friday afternoon and you could shoot a gun through here and not hit anyone.

By the looks of things, it's the whole 'www' lushstories.com domain that's affected. Mobile site, cams, tube and forums are subdomains so they're unaffacted at the mo.

Same experience here, been getting error messages for around four hours now. Also experienced occasional outages nine or ten hour ago.
Nice to see that in the end, it was talent that won the day. Congratulations to Hannah, and to the fine authors making the top ten. And special kudu's to Tonya for picking up a first in the Clitorides Awards!

Here's my latest - Charlene is Not All Show - It's another piece of flash.

And now if I might, I'd like a cup of Bertha's finest!

That's fantastic, Tonya! Well done you!

And many congrats to our Hannah! Hooray!

Did someone say party?

... And since I'm taking instruction here how do I stop the list of who I'm following showing on my profile page? I've gone to Settings and clicked the Hide Follow List box but nothing changes! ...

Just looked at your profile page and couldn't find any follow list. Could be it's just showing it to you but no-one else.

I'd have another of those Blue Moons, if there's any left.

Happy to do that Rumps if I figure out where my sig line is. You have to consider that when I went to school we had inkwells in the desks and I've been behind the tech curve ever since

Try the following code. Copy and paste it into your forum signature, (Mini-Avatar drop-down Menu > Settings > More Options > Edit Forum Signature). This should give you a signature block on the forums featuring your latest story.

Clicking anywhere on the signature block will take a person directly to the story.

... Trace, what in the name of both Strunk & White is this 'no 'redeeming social value' you mentioned? IMHO, it sounds interesting in a high-brow, moralistic way -- and boring. Clue me in. Degenerate minds wanna know. ...

Avoid Sprite and all of her advice... she will guide you and your malleable mind directly into the smut gutter.
Case in point: This story. You'll never think of her the same way again. It's on my recommend list, when people ask. I'd never freely offer this recommendation.

Thanks for the warning. I cannot believe I had not seen this side of her before.

Like, jeez, I've got three of Sprite's stories in my favorites list ...
But this one? No redeeming social value, whatsoever.

Following is a partial quote from a posting on the thread, 'Announcing our "Notorious" Story Competition'.

Quote by Ping
Every competition is a learning experience. If you read all entries, you can see many different styles and perspectives, and if you can glean something from each, you are a better writer for it. If you want to improve, like so many of us endeavor to, read past competition stories, especially those that made the podium and those that received EP's and RR's. Again, learn from those that have been successful. There is no one formula for success. But sticking to the same-old style that has not been successful, is an excellent recipe for the opposite of want you want. ...

I have learned much, and expect to learn even more, from all of you at Rump's. Thank you!

... does the Reverend say coffee drinkers are going to Hell.. or just the ones who read my stories.... giggles

If Reverend Graham doesn't drink coffee, he probably thinks we'll go to hell for that too.

He's a lot like my mother. She was sure that if you weren't like her, you were on your way to hell. However, she did drink 6 or 7 cups of coffee a day, so coffee might be okay.

My father was a preacher, but even he thought my mother was a zealot. He, (my father) did like Reverend Graham's father, Billy Graham, who I'm sure was a lot more tolerant. Billy Graham might have even liked your stories.

Now, in order to keep this short... oops, too late for that!

... I suspect Heaven might be a bit dull anyway ?

Will have to be - Reverend Graham says there won't be any stories like Susie's.
Make mine coffee, would you please - some of that BB stuff!

Sure am glad there was some of that Blue Moon left.
That's really good shit.
Some of us don't get to start their weekends quite as early as others,
which unfortunately means that we do miss the usual happy hour crowd!

However, there are occasionally certain benefits.

Carl, if you've got any more of that Blue Moon, I'd like a bottle or two or three or four ...

(Had some Blue Moon in RL - really good!)

... for some reason or other Lucy Ann's account is no longer on lush so all comments she made have disappeared ...

Quote by deviantsusie
I suspected that both LucyAnn and Georgina were new accounts by Pixie Hoffmann.. as both accounts appear to have been deleted, perhaps one of the mods had the same suspicion?

The above would appear to tell us all that we need to know.
Wife - Yes, when I was married.
GF - I have done this. Maybe that's why I'm not married anymore.
Stranger - Yes, I probably did - not sure though - not even sure how I ended up in bed with her.
A guy - Well maybe, but only if we were sharing the same woman.

First, I'd like a cup of Bertha's finest with a shot of Jameson.

And now, if I can have

Yes, I found it and there’s plenty left! So, enjoy!

Let's open another - definitely better than that beer I've been drinking!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter. TraceEkies had reserved a bottle of bottle of Schramsberg chilled for me. Now I would like to pass it forward and buy everyone that drops in, a bottle. Including you TraceEkies!
Banes1

Guess I missed him. Hope he found the Schramsberg I left for him. If there's any left, I'll take a glass of it. And no, I don't need a flute - a beer glass would seem more like the right size.
