I find second person to be very weird. Like, "who are you talking to?"

First person, particularly when it's someone completely different from me, represents somewhat of a challenge, which I like sometimes.

Third person is somewhat of a default.

I don't feel the need to pee, per se, but I find that if I don't pee shortly after being done with sex that sometimes the next time I pee I get the dreaded "fork stream," and that makes a mess.

As for the original question, I have to pass along a joke.

It's the last day of creation, and God has given every animal a gift of one sort or other. He's come down to Adam and Eve, but the gift box is getting pretty empty. God says, "Well, let's see... I've got 'pee standing up....'"

Adam pipes up right away. He says, "Oh, please. I can be ever so much more efficient while I'm out working in the fields if I don't have to find a place to sit down to do that."

Eve shrugs and says, "I don't mind. He can have it."

God nods and <presto>... Adam gives a "Yipee" and goes off to work.

God looks at Eve and says, "Well, about all I have left is 'multiple orgasms.'"

I believe this happens about once a day: I go to lush and I get the "well this is embarrassing..." website crash page. I then have to go into Safari's privacy preferences and remove all local storage for lushstories.com and then the website works and I have to log in again. That works until the next day. This happens on both desktop and mobile Safari.

Ok, that seems to have worked. One complication that I discovered on the way is that attempting to paste a story from the clipboard in Safari hangs and eats the CPU until the web page crashes. It worked on FireFox though.

I've considered submitting the story as new, but I thought that in the past I was told that that was a no-no, and that there was a content fingerprinting system to catch stuff like that.

But if you're saying out loud (as a mod) to give it a try, I will. Thanks.

From what I can tell, the situation is far worse. The "submit" button does nothing at all. We have the word of a story mod that story submissions are happening, so this is a problem for an indeterminate percentage of those attempting to post stories.

It's been almost a week and this is the best information available, pieced together from user anecdotes posted here. There has been no work at all from anyone in any official capacity concerning the nature of the problem, the number of people it affects, any workarounds that might be available, or a timeframe for correction.

Is it not too much to ask that someone actually check on this and acknowledge that it's an issue and that we're not all losing our damn minds?! I don't mind waiting for it to be fixed if someone tells me that they know it's broken and a fix is in the works.

Sheesh.

Desktop Safari is where I am having the problem. 🤷‍♂️

On the old site, when you submit a story for review, it got locked until it was acted on by a story mod.

Now, when I submit a story, there's a brief banner indicating the story was submitted, but if I go the list of my stories, it says the story is still in draft.

Is it in the review queue or not?
