I'm hitting the theaters three times this weekend.

Friday, I'm going with a bunch of friends to see The Expendables.

Saturday, my fiancee and I are going to see a double feature.....Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World in the afternoon & Eat. Pray. Love. as a nightcap.

In the next couple weeks, other movies I plan on seeing are.....

Vampires Suck (8/18)
Piranha 3D (8/20)
The Tillman Story (8/20)
The Last Exorcism (8/27)
Takers (8/27)
Centurion (8/27)
Mesrine: Killer Instinct (8/27)

Sorry, I can't have a link on my Facebook page to Lush; I'm still a closet sexual deviant

But I LOVE Scrabble. Any way to get the game on Lush?

There are still closet sexual deviants? Wow. Nicola must be slacking off. LOL. Just kidding Nicola.....or am I?

T.G.I.F. It’s almost the weekend anyone have big plans?

It's my birthday. My fiancee is throwing me a weekend long birthday bash.

And Happy Birthday, LadySharon.
ME! Today I hit the big 3-1 (doesn't have the same ring as 3-0 but oh well).

Also a happy birthday to all the Lushes I share a birthday with.
I don't get much of a chance to finish. While she's giving me a blowjob, my fiancee usually gets too worked up to finish before she jumps me.
I haven't yet and have no intentions to start. Usually I also take off the day after my birthday....that is when I have a job on my birthday.....

BTW, you can all start getting my presents ready now.....It's only 15 days until my 31st!!!!!

LOL. Just kidding. Only Holly has to worry about getting me a present smile
Happy birthday Nicola....

So, 18 with 23 years experience? Wow. Here's to many more.
Being born and raised in the Boston area, seeing this movie made me miss home (I was living in North Carolina when it came out.) I got excited when they mentioned my favorite hometown hangout, the Dedham Mall! I called it when I saw the movie that Scorcese would finally win the Beast Director Oscar, which we all know was long overdue. The acting was great (shocking for me to say that since I think DiCaprio is one of the most overrated actors of alltime....Nicholson with a Boston accent was insane. Damon & the Wahlbergs, well, they didn't obviously didn't have to try to use a Boston accent.). The scenery made me cry (all part of the missing home thing LOL).

As much as I liked The Departed, I'm with thepainter when it comes to Infernal Affairs being better, but remakes/reimaginings are rarely if ever better than the original.

I agree, although through the 2007 offseason, I kept hoping the Sixers could put off a deal to move up into the top two to get Durant. I'm glad he went to the Tunder though. With all the controversy surrounding the team's move from Seattle, they needed a good player as their first draft pick in OKC.

I think the Thunder has, or will eventually have, what it takes to at least compete in the west.

Once AI left Philly, things went down hill.

The Thunder are only a big man away from being a serious threat in the West. If they can upgrade from Collison in the middle, they'll be dangerous.

And my Sixers are finally starting to turn it around. I'm psyched about them drafting the best player in the draft, Evan Turner.

Go Thunder!

I'm with you on that statement. I was originally pissed when Clay Bennett moved the team from Seattle, but I'm actually starting to like the Thunder. Durant is a beast and should have won the MVP this year. They're only a couple players away from being a legit contender in the West.

Ugh. Why can't my Sixers be more like the Thunder?

I was excited of course. I'm from Oklahoma and I was still there when the Thunder was born. I saw KD play when he was with Texas. Thunder is a perfect fit for him, considering he's really close to home. I think he'll win the MVP next year because of the Big 3 in Miami. I didn't think he'd win it last year because LeBron was just too good up until the playoffs.

I also feel an emotional tie with New Orleans as well.

It's amazing how quickly Lushers can be found on FB. I've got my fave Lusher as a FB friend.

Miami is allowed to to go over the cap limit if they are signing guys to minimum contracts. Now who will agree to that is another question.

They have Da'Sean Butler and Dexter Pittman as well. They'll be signed to rookie contracts so Miami will be able to exceed the cap space if need be.

I know they can exceed the cap, but I don't think they're really willing to fork over however much money their luxury tax hit would be. Although I don't think many guys wouldn't be willing to sign for the vet minimum just to be able to play with the South Beach Big 3.

Ooh, can't wait to see more Kobe vs. Wade! I love intensity matchups! The Heat will need D-Wade when game seven comes around and LeBron doesn't make 'the leap' where he becomes unstoppable in serious playoff crunch time. I have a feeling he never really will.

Wade's not leaving. He loves it here. I mean, here, he's got shit named after him and shit... (LOL)

X meant they'll need Wade to step up when James chokes in the 4th.

With that said, my money is on LA this year and Miami the next.

Even with James, Wade, and Bosh....Miami is a couple years away from a title. As of this moment, the Heat only have one player under a signed contract, and that's Mario Chalmers. They're waiting to see the first year salaries of their Big 3 to see how much cap space they have this year.

They traded Michael Beasley to Minnesota last night, freeing up $4.6million in the process. And they're apparently trying to get Mike Miller to sign, with Jason Williams, Ealr Watson, Mike James, & Keyon Dooling also being talked about.

We'll see just how far Miami has a shot of going once they get their bench figured out.
James, Wade, & Bosh will kill the Heat. With the contracts they'll sign, the Heat won't be able to sign decent bench players. Oh well, I guess the East might have another Big 3.....assuming Miami is where James decides to go. I still have a hunch he'll stay in Cleveland.

Ugh. Why can't my Sixers get players like them?
I saw Eclipse this past Saturday afternoon and Grown-Ups Monday morning. Both were actually better than I expected.
