Took me a while to get used to Vista/7 after I moved up from XP, but now I can't go back to it. As for Mint, I've heard a lot of people recommend it, and as long as your not a huge gamer it might be the way to go.

Not the original Age of empires, I play the HD Remake of AOE2 once in a while, but I'm a bigger Red Alert fan, and hell I enjoy Generals too (didn't when it was a big thing, but looking back that was a very good game).
