The "hot tub of cum" thread will always be my favorite. I can never find it, though, so my memories of it becomes increasingly bizarre with time.

I don't know that it ever caused "heated debate." More like an "only at Lush" moment.

bahahah. what was the "hot tub of cum" exactly?

The "Be Kind, Rewind" is what makes it genius. smile

I'm glad to see that I am not alone in thinking Gillian Anderson would be a lot of fun?

Didn't she get caught up in some sex video / pornography scandal back in the 90s?
Been getting more familiar with some of the other sites out there. A little shocked at how archaic some of them are (sexstories.com, storiesonline, literotica). Lush certainly owns the others in terms of experience and community.

Does anyone know whether the views reported by sexstories.com are accurate? They are 10-25x greater than other sites. Sounds fishy to me...
Lush puts night and day between its user experience and some of the larger sites. Feels like Facebook for erotica. Suspect it will eventually usurp some of the older incumbent sites like Literotica and Sexstories.com.
Either of the unfaithful wives in Lake Consequence (Joan Severance) or Unfaithful (Diane Lane). Saucy minxes...

It's not erotic (unless you get off on obscure things), but has anyone read any of his work? I read an interesting article about him in the broadsheets this weekend.

I recently read Antifragile which I'd recommend. His style is convoluted and he is clearly arrogant, but he has some original and powerful insights. Did you end up reading any of his work?
Thanks for kicking this off Laura and thanks for the advice. smile

1. Who are you (e.g. pen name, how you make a living etc)? C_R_R_Crawford. Teacher

2. If you could host a dinner party for any five people (dead or alive), who would they be? Mark Twain, Joan Severance, George W. Bush (before he gave up alcohol and not for his politics), Jennifer Lawrence (the girl gets loose) and Princess Margaret (this girl also liked to get loose apparently).

3. Riskiest place you’ve done it? Underground car park during the middle of the day.

4. Best writing tip you’ve ever received? "Omit needless words". Even the advice is succinct...

5. Which famous author does your writing most resemble? I haven't written enough yet to identify with any one writer, but I admire Hemingway for keeping it simple.

6. Favourite story (and author) on Lush? I haven't managed to get through all of the great writing on this site yet, but Frank Lee is very good.

7. Any advice for new members of Lush? As a new member, I don't have any advice to offer yet, but seems like a strong, vibrant community.
Hi All – I’m relatively new to Lush and realised I haven't had a chance to get to know other writers well owing to shortage of time to join Chat Rooms etc. Thought a short Q&A with new and seasoned authors might help people acquaint themselves. Or maybe not... But here goes if anyone is feeling game to kick this off and answer the below 7 questions?

Thanks to all the verifiers and volunteers for sifting through all the stories! Must be hard work. My story was just published at 7 day mark which is pretty good if this is supposed to be as bad as it gets (during competition time).
