I think I understand what Bethany is alluding to. Sure, other standards of beauty and sexiness exist that are different from the standards of SI, but the question here is specifically about the standards set by SI.
Every competitive venue has its particular judging standards. Lush has its own standards of excellence which not all of us may agree with, but this is the way the game is played. If you want to win, you have to conform to the venue in which you've chosen to compete. A grown man (or woman) knows the world he (she) lives in.
