Story Draft Folder

This may be a daft question, but I just want to clarify.

Still, in my draft folder, I have a number of old, approved stories which are up on the site.

Is it okay to delete them?

Without losing the posted story.

Yes, by all means. If you scroll down to the end of any of your drafts, you can see there's no Published date, nor any user interactions panel (like/favourite etc) which is a nice visual check that you're looking at a draft and not a live story. Delete at will.

Seeing this, I have in my draft stories a story that actually got published on here in September 2021. I have been reluctant to delete it from draft in case the published version got deleted by doing so. I do not know how/why it is in draft AND online, but there you go.

It is doing no harm sitting in draft, so I might leave it there anyway.

I have a story that seems to be permanently stuck in the draft folder. How do I get it to be actually published?

That's odd. When you edit your story, do you see the Preview button next to the Save button, near the bottom? If so, tap that, check your story looks okay and then tap Publish at the bottom of that second page.

If not, please let us know what you do see, and how you're going about the process of publishing, and someone will try and assist.

I'll ask the question but I don't think there's a time or quantity limit on them.
