I would like to know everyone's top super idea's for organising stories and idea's on your p.c.
Paper work is easy to organise. I find organising P.C work much harder.

I agree with both, DirtyMartini, and Gurlyboy. Since I also write fiction, I have folders in "My Documents" on my P.C. set aside for those. For my erotica, I simply save the story in "My Documents." It helps me keep them straight that way.

Folders help. Right click and click on new folder, give it a descriptive name and slap the relevant crap in there!

I'm an un-organised woman ha ha I live and breathe clutter some day's LOL I have piles of idea's, finished stories and stories in the making. I just have trouble keeping them organised!

I have 5 folders: Stories, poems and wips (works in progress, not stories about whips lol) and once they've been published I put them in a folder called either "published stories" or "published poems". I am kinda ocd about how they are organised.

I try to give unique folder names to all my various works of drivel. Perhaps a few of these will kick start your imagination Honey. You gotta start somewhere when cleaning up the house, yanno.

I had to get myself organised when I started submitting stories to a lot different markets. I have a top level folder called 'Stories' which contains all my erotica. Within there I have... you guessed it, all my stories - from a few lines of ideas through to completely edited material ready for market. I then have a 'Submissions' folder into which I move the files as I submit them, with a separate folder for each market. In addition, I use Sonar3 () to keep track of the submissions, so I can quickly find-out where I'm up to. I have a spreadsheet of any money due and whether it has been paid. Finally, I have a backup routine: a batch file which I run after I do any work which copies this to a pen drive and online storage.
