My first chapter of what will be a multi-book series is currently with the mods... If accepted I plan to post one chapter at a time until each book is fully posted.

Then I like to turn the individual chapters into an ebook so they are all in one place and then have that ebook on my personal wall...

Is that possible and if so, how do you do it?

No, completely impossible.

Have you ever heard the expression, "run before you can walk"?

Thank you for your @CallmeJane... though a little disappointing and leads me to another question...

Why is there an eBook option on your personal page menu?

Good advice... but I have also been walking for a very long time... Just not posting 😊.

The eBooks menu options are for legacy content brought over from the old version of the site. It's not currently possible to link to new eBook content, but maybe one day it will resurface.

Even so, not sure if individual chapters can be combined automatically. Your best bet for now, might be to use the Amazon Publisher tools to combine all the parts into a single eBook and then just link to the final product from your profile page.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 111 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 2 poems with the following features:

* 29 Editor's Picks, 74 Recommended Reads.
* 15 competition podium places, 10 other times in the top ten.
* 21 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

Thank you @WannabeWordsmith... I will look into how to use Amazon Publisher and then when ready link it here.

This is my first tentative step to putting any of my writing into the public domain and I still have much to learn... Including how to navigate around this version of Lush Stories.

Ace. It might be called Amazon Content Creator or something now. They tend to rebrand a lot.

Thank you again@WannabeWordsmith... But it is not Amazon Contact Creator, that is something else.... and Amazon Publisher seems to be for directly publishing onto Amazon... I thought about that but I want what I have written to be free and able to be read in book form... I was hoping LushStories was the place for that.

For me, this is about a journey going from writing privately just for fun... to becoming a not-too-serious amateur erotica author.

I am looking to use a tool (other than Word) that can turn my chapters/books into something that makes them look like books and then post them (for free) on a website where they can be read (for free) as books.

I am open to any suggestions.

That's the puppy, thanks. The platform at least.

There is a Windows/Mac tool called Kindle Create that is like a step-by-step wizard thing for converting a bunch of Word docs into the proprietary Kindle format for publishing. There are also similar tools for the more open ePub format floating around the internet.

I have a suggestion. "The Alpha Man In Me" is a rotten title.

I can't wait to read it.😊

I'm no expert, but I've published a few e-books. It's not that hard, but it takes some time to figure out. The biggest things to focus on is having a good cover that meets Amazon's standards, having a good blurb, and having a good set of keywords. I was never to make much money at it. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

Thank you @Ensorceled... I did have a look at this yesterday and it remains an option... though atm I prefer to find a free host where I can put my series of 5 finished books, as eBooks, for free... Let's see how my chapter-by-chapter posting goes here on Lushstories.

I also need to point out that I see myself as nothing more than a very average hobbyist writer atm. I am just looking to improve and this is my first tentative foray into putting any of my work into the public domain.

If you can't add anything constructive, can you just zip it, please. This is a forum meant to encourage writers. Thanks.

First forays lead to second forays. Good luck! Looking to improve is a great attitude, and getting comfortable with what's involved is a good first step.

I don't think that's very encouraging.

You're welcome.

Update: I have now started to post my first book "The Alpha Man in Me" on Lush Stories, chapter by chapter. The prologue and first four chapters are now up. However, it takes surprisingly quite a lot of time to reformat what was written as a book to a chapter-by-chapter story and it does lose something. Though I do still plan to carry to posting here, and on the plus side, it has made me address my gramma.

So I ask again, other than Amazon is there a place where you can post whole eBooks? and keep the copyright? and it can be read for free?

I keep seeing the ebook tab on Lush Stories hoping it will become active. Will that ever happen?

Thank you to those who responded the first time around to this post.

Thank you CallmeJayne, it is appreciated.

As for being a real writer, I am well short of that.

It wouldn't matter if you were James Joyce. What you are looking for doesn't exist. Because the two elements are incompatible.
