Foreword
I had a crazy idea about an ongoing forum/chat room roleplay, where everyone involved picked out a role, outfit and name, and pretended to be in a prison together! Some will be guards, some will be inmates. Just imagine all the things that could be done... All female(or all male ;) ) guards, secret hookups, favors done to maintain reputation, etc...

The prison

Known to you as only the Prison, this state of the art, high-tech camp has everything a prisoner needs, and more... Outside, the Prison is known to use "alternative" methods of handling inmates. Cases of rough BDSM have been reported to take place within the walls, but nobody has ever had any proof...
Outer gate

A tall, chainlock fence surrounds the Main gate, preventing escaping prisoners immediate freedom.
Main gate
This is where new prisoners arrive. New meat is seen coming and going every day through it's thick steel doors.
Guard towers
Tall sharpshooter nests located at each of the prison's corners. The outer wall is wide enough to patrol along.
Guard quarters
The housing of the correctional officers at the facility. Enough room for 1 officer per 5 inmate. Also includes an armory, showers/toilets and cafeteria for guards.
Laundry house
Here, the clothes and bed sheets are washed by inmates every week.
Cell blocks
Blocks a-b-c-d houses the most dangerous inmates, while the rest are in blocks e-f-g-h. Each of the cell blocks have their own toilets and common areas, and cells enough for 200 prisoners. With split beds, this means the number of cells per block is 100. Races are mixed. Genders are split into every other block, males have a-c-e-g and female b-d-f-h (transexuals by what they identify themselves as).

Cafeteria
This large, open area is a place where inmates are taken once each day for a prison standard "healthy" meal.
Recreational area
This part of the prison features a library with an extensive collection of books, an exercise room, a gaming room, a music room, a machine shop where prisoners can make different things and a theatre where prisoners and guards can watch movies. Inmates have a limited time for relaxation each day, only a few hours, and can use it however they want within the walls.
Overwatch
This area is home to the Overseer (boss of the prison) and several guard quarters. It is used for rapid deployment for officers if the need arises and as a way of monitoring prisoners.
Warehouse
A large warehouse that stores a variety of things, from prisoner clothing to confiscated goods.
Basketball court
This area can also be used for other team sports like baseball, soccer and football. Prison gangs rule this part of the prison.
Second gate
This gate is used mainly for bringing in food and other items, but is known to be used for transportation of prisoners under isolation. It's under heavy security.
