Been there done that.. just before Christmas saw a wadded bill as i entered a store. (100.00) talked to store owner. (no idea)I checked with them for 3 or 4 weeks never did locate the owners..Word of advice. should you find money & want to return it to its owner ,NEVER STATE HOW MUCH YOU FOUND Who ever lost it will know how much they lost.In a local store some one said that they found 50.00& almost instantly two people claimed it.a policeman later split it between the two .
