It's pretty disingenuous to present these stats this way, being that it's worded as if 60% of all likely voters feel this way. The poll only surveyed 1027 people (interesting that you left this tidbit out, as if you knew what it would do to the credibility of this poll), which very well could have been majority conservative or right-leaning. So while this poll may be accurate, it's not valid. For it to be valid, this poll would have to be generalizable to the public as a whole, and it's not. Furthermore, according to allsides.com (a source that measures media bias), the Rasmussen Reports is right-leaning.

In conclusion: This poll is useless and provides nothing but bias-confirming fodder for those who get their kicks being provocateurs.
