I can't believe he's making me feel sympathy for Haaahvaaahd. Removing all fed contract $$ for their medical research, science research etc. That's a lot of grad students and a lot of good work. Industry supports basic research only if it's going to make them money. There isn't a lot of money in curing rare diseases for example. Federal research money is needed to keep this country competitive in basic science.
These sanctions have nothing to do with antisemitism- that's just a cover story. Trump is just following the Project 2025/ Victor Orban handbook and defunding institutions who criticize him. Defunding universities was one of the first things Orban did.
