If embryos are people in Alabama, does that mean a woman's miscarriage could be prosecuted?

Speak for yourself. I always get my eggs' consent before I consume them.

I just feel like there’s an oral sex joke in here somehow.

There’s a lot of overlap in those.

My son (the most liberal human on the planet and quite different from me who’s split down the middle) taught me something about debates. He doesn’t try to change my beliefs, but told me he just wants me to understand why he thinks the way he does. That’s what’s missing in today’s world. No one’s interested in trying to understand the other side.

And I think abortion and religion have no place in govt. I’m a woman who wants control of my body. And I’m eternally grateful another woman chose NOT to abort or I wouldn’t have my son today. I mourn fetuses aborted. They have no voice at that time, but who knows how powerful or world-changing that voice might have become if allowed to be born. That said, I believe women have right to choose. And the govt should have no say.

And in colonial days, the group from England were of same religion. But America evolved into a diverse people of many religions, so the Bible no longer has a place in govt. I believe in God. Have read the Bible and don’t believe it’s a complete, factual representation of God’s word. But I think people making choices based on the Bible should NOT be shamed. And those same Bible believers should NOT shame others who don’t share their religious beliefs. Too many think they are the voice of God. I would never think myself worthy and was once told by a teacher to “Get out of God’s way” with my son. Best advice ever!!! And taught me what kind of Christian I needed to be, and what kind I shouldn’t be.

People who expect their govt to make rules based on their religious beliefs need to break off into their own new colony. The govt is here to make laws for the benefit of all the people. Alabama citing the Bible only sparks feuds.

The threat is there that a miscarriage may at least be investigated. Many are afraid to report. So sad.

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
