I spent 30 minutes looking at past threads just now, trying to find the one I started about Bill Cosby, and I came across a 9/11 where were you: thread started by SimmerdownChick a few years ago. You had the very last post in that 3 page long thread.

You were attacking Nymph - as you are wont to do. About stupid shit that you make up. As you are wont to do.

Don't bother lecturing me on forum comportment - turd knocker.

The key word in my post was "needlessly". Everyone knows that Nymphwriter's shit sucks even more than yours.

And come on, I bet you it was way more than 30 minutes... That's really lame Jeff. Like really pathetic.

I think next time you need to put down your Keystone Light, step away from your shitty computer and boof a couple of chill pills.

I was working at a diesel locomotive shop when somebody came by and told us that a plane just hit a tower in NYC. Curious, we went to the bosses office in time to see the second plane hit. A short while later it was announced that a plane had gone down in Shanksville. That was 15 miles from my house. I had a strange feeling of dread and helplessness. I called my wife then signed out and went home. When I got home I saw the fighter jets flying overhead. What an eerie time the next few days were. we drove to Shanksville later in the week but couldn't get close to the crash site but a farmer had built a small wall of hay bales at the end of the road and the mementos, prayers and flags were already being posted. A time I will never forget.

In class at high school. The school didn't announce it though. Most of us knew something bad had happened but didn't know the extent until we got out of school.

A friend called me to ask what was going on. They were at work and had heard something had happened, and I was at home getting ready for a doctors appointment. That night I received a call that my cousin was on United Airlines Flight 175. It was a shock that his parents never recovered from and they could not even watch the news as they would have to see their son die, over and over. This is just one reason why I will never forget, nor ever forgive.

I was 16 years old. The first plane struck the North Tower at 10.46 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time). Our regular viewing was interrupted for a newsflash about the “accident” where a plane had crashed into the North tower. I remember my whole family were in the living room watching it all unfold and becoming more horrified as more information became available. We were watching the footage of the second plane hit the south tower and it dawned on me that it was no accident and I thought WW3 had begun. When the first tower collapsed I started to cry because I knew there were still so many people in there. Then I heard about Flight 93 crashing in Shanksville, and how the brave passengers brought the plane down in a remote area. I have a huge fear of flying and I can’t imagine being brave enough to do something like that, and kept thinking about how terrified they all must have been.

I had regular nightmares for two years where I would be looking out of a high rise window and seeing a huge jet about to hit me. I’ve started to cry again just remembering it all. The fact I was in a different country didn’t matter to me or probably most of the rest of the world. Anyone who watched it unfold couldn’t help but be emotionally affected by it. We must NEVER forget.

I was watching it on TV, i was laid off at the time, as the company i was working for moved, I was never out of work long in my life/career, but this just happened to be one of those times, i actually getting ready to go into work on this temporary job i took at BFI which is the garbage collection for the city.

I basically just drove the trucks in and out of this carwash port all day long, while these other guys power washed them.

Those guys have a gold mine of porn mags in those trucks, it was stunning.

I was 19 and sitting in the financial aid office of the school I was attending when the advisor ws literally shaking with fear. When I asked her what happened, she told me. I thought it was a sick joke at first because nobody should be scared like that if it was a joke. My work-study was approved and the building was evacuated, per the instructions of the college chancellor and president.

Heard about the first plane as I pulled into the parking lot of the school I taught at. Went to the library, turned on the TV and witnessed the second plane crash into the tower. It was a very long and sad day.

I WILL NEVER FORGET

I was in the middle of my annual performance review with my boss. Her assistant knocked at the door and my boss told her to wait and we'd be done shortly. A couple of minutes later the assistant knocked again and just opened the door to tell us both that both Towers had been hit by planes and that there also been an attack on the Pentagon. Needless to say we never finished the performance review.
