Some very sad news, basketball superstar Kobe Bryant died, along with 4 other people, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
Kobe Bryant, 41, played his entire professional career for the LA Lakers, 5 time World Champions, and 4th all-time NBA scorer.
Terrible news.
Apparently his teenage daughter was also on board.
This is awful news - RIP
Very sad news, he and his 13-year-old daughter, leaving behind 3 other daughters, one only 7 months old, and his wife.
Tragic for sure, one of the all-time greats of the game. (Even though, as a Nuggets fan, I hated the Lakers.) He (and she) died much too young.
I am not a basketball fan by any means but I was in total shock when I saw the news at Mrs. Kim's Chinese food restaurant.
Traffic in LA is even crazier today.
His wife and children came to mind.
I know they'll have beautiful service.
I don't have much sympathy for him.
