There is nothing wrong with Forrest Gump but it doesn't come anywhere near as kick ass as Shawshank Redemption. It seems everyone is in agreement that Shawshank is better. biggrin

Ohhh that's a tough call......... Both fantastic Movies and Tom Hanks is a great actor and Stephen King is an exceptionable writer...... But..... I'm going to go with The Shawshank Redemption, I just like prison break movies a bit more I guess.

I’m a big fan of both these movies but by far without a doubt in mind that Shawshank Redemption is the better of the two. Shawshank Redemption is my all time favorite movie. I too am a prison break type movie fan.

Both were very good movies but I'd have to weigh in on the side of Stephen King. But not for the Shawshank Redemption but for The Shining. The Shining is my all time favorite movie and nothing comes close to it.
